Not really. Blank Gun rounds are smaller than normal real Bullet's so they wouldn't fit through the canister part of the Gun that shoots the Bullet.

The barrel needs to be facing front only even when the safety's on.

Bruce Lee's son died from being shot with a prop gun at point blank. If i remember correctly, the wadding hit him in the temple. So yes, even a prop gun can be lethal if misused with blanks. Knowing that, of course real bullets can also be harmful to yourself or others.

The first rule of gun safety is that you always treat a gun as if it is loaded with real bullets.

I think the engineering is different on those so it probably wouldn't do anything with a live round, but if you shot yourself point blank with some blanks, it would definitely kill you. Blank or not they still use black powder, and that's some shit you don't want to be fucking around with. That's how Brandon Lee died.

It's not a real firearm, it's a blank gun, but I was thinking about using live ammo from the actual real gun that the model is portraying.

Jon-Eric Hexum. He killed himself with a blank gun. It didn't have any live rounds and he still killed himself. So yeah, sure continue playing with your little toy... but keep in mind it'll probably kill you even if it did have live rounds.
