Have You Ever Had Your Sig Stolen?

You get a new sig, it's fresh and shiny, and you want to show it off a little. You go one the BBS, have a general good time, maybe get a comment or two about your new little tag, and you go to a topic. What do you see? Some asshole with the same sig as you.

Has this ever happened to you?

It has to me, with the sig in the included pic, and with my current one, which I don't even think es that great. I'm just using it while my new one is... Let's just say... Under Construction.

I just PM'd the person holding my current sig about 20 minutes ago, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. Here's what the last one said.

Well, I can't really see what else you could do. You could tell a mod that he stolen your sig, and the mod could ban him for that. But I don't know what else to do, and I believe it's worth a shot.

I had the same sig for a year or two, and there were a few people who stole it and changed the colors + added their own name. But recently I've decided to don a simpler sig, because the crab calls to me

My sig has a an E.P.I.C. level security system, any one how steals it would automatically have all there posts be seen as spam and/or fails.

Actually, one person asked for my permission to use an older signature picture I once had.

Other than that, no one has stolen my signature picture as far as I know.

Ban for stealing a signature? How pathetic. I think a more reasonable approach would just to delete the image, as to the topic, I've had my signature stolen on several occasions. I don't see why, they don't take me long to shape up and I've got 100's more behind me.

I don't recall anyone ever stealing my sigs.

The only time other people used the sig I made was when I made my username pixel sig. Even then only a few people used it.

No but I've had others make me signatures in which they stole it from someone else and put my username over it.

That was embarrassing.
