honestly it would be stupid to make a touchscreen for desktop computers, physically its alot easier on the arms to use a mouse. would you honestly like to have your arm streched out to touch your screen? it would get tired fast.
Id like to see a table top touch screen that would be way more practical.

Like Microsoft's "Surface" ?
Meh @ touch screens, I don't care for them.

Although I do agree with your point about limb fatigue, you must admit, it does have it's own possibilities that would out weigh that inconvenient little detail....

Yes really it will make more interesting and cool to play games on touch screen with flash embedded.
Speaking as someone with a touchscreen/tablet laptop, I can say it's a visceral pleasure to hit big red buttons with just your fingers. Makes playing strategy games that support the instant teleportation of the cursor much more fun.
Surprisingly though a lot of games seem to rely on the mouse being moved from one location to another, rather than instantly changing location. Mouse avoiders that forget this are a laugh...

I feel that because of arm fatigue, it would be impractical on a desktop, however on something more portable it would work great. If only they can convert the iPod touch into a fully functional mini computer :/
I want one of those brain mouse interface things. Screw the touch screen.
SmartBoards look awesome for playing games on.

If it's easier for someone to draw with a mouse than with a pen, the touchscreen is useless. Luckily, I can draw with a mouse and a pen, but I still can't use a touchscreen B/C I can't draw with my fingers.
Too much Halo....
Who needs to use fingers? The Nintendo DS uses a stylus, why wouldn't a touch screen be able to use one, even a make-shift one? That way, you have accuracy as well as ease.

while everybody forgot that this is the Flash forum, I wonder.
It would be incredibly useful if you could get a touch-screen monitor you can sit on your lap and use a stylus. It would be a hell of a lot easier to draw, and the problem with tablet's is you're drawing on one thing but it appears somewhere else making it a bit more difficult.
