How come Russia invades the US from the air, they only have one aircraft carrier right now and building one aircraft carrier can take 3-4 years and tend to cost $4 Billion USD.

Why does Russia invade the US, the logistics concerning that would be hell, it would be much easier and more logical to invade Europe.

What happened to NATO, how come flimsy evidence(not to mention the video footage of Makarov in the airport), is enough to convince the rest of NATO that the CIA committed the massacre?

How come the Russians managed to sneak onto the Eastern seaboard by just disabling the satelite detection systems? America has Radar and since this is the future, LIDAR (think radar, but with lasers instead of radio) systems for warnings as well. Not to mention that if it was a seaborne invasion, sonar as well.

How come even though TF141 can tell the bullets and weaponry were not made in America, they never bother to show the evidence to Russia, or at least the world?

Why was Price in the Gulag and Soap wasn't? You'd think both of them would be shipped to a British hospital, but apparently only Soap got that treatment, and apparently Great Britain doesn't protect its SAS operatives.

All these plot holes just lend credence to the laundry list theory, that Infinity Ward just made a list of locations they wanted to use in MW2, and came up with the plot later.

They wanted to blow up the scale of the game and knew they would have a hard time doing that in comparison to the first MW. Like you said, they came up with amazing ideas that would blow people away playing them. The only problem is they came up with the locations first and the plot later. Most of the games story is in the cutscenes and all the player does is play the extremely unrealistic scenes in between.

It's a fun game but they went overboard. We could also leave it at it's just a video game =p

What I want to know is: isn't the Soyuz a Russian craft? Surely the people aboard the ISS would have to have been Russkies to get a Soyuz up there? Or did Shepherd swap a CIA agent for a rocket? The ISS is a joint thing isn't it? If there are only Russian rockets on it, then where did the Americans go? I imagined if they were Russians, they would have worked out that the Nuke was being deliberately launched.

And another thing: you see Makarov in the camera shots, and it's not worked out that he was one of the men responsible? Surely a fucking face would be easier to spot than a bullet? Plus, if you keep an eye on Makarov's team during the mission, a lot of them die too - there's no way you can assume ONE armed gunman did it, when there are a couple more lying dead in the airport as well. So how did Shepherd manage to skip over some images of a man shooting up an airport, and then find a bullet, and also pin it to a Brazilian arms dealer?

If you look hard enough the story of the game doesn't make any sense at all. If you don't look hard enough you'll have fun with the story.

I've got a question. On the level where you have to storm the russian villa to see if Makarav is there, afterwards when you're running down the hill to the LZ and have to fight the guys in the woods, immediately after Ghost says "Roach, I've got you covered, go go go!", I get hit with a mortar and die. Like, seriously, every time, no matter where I am. I've been replaying this chunk for a good 15 minutes, and every time Ghost tells me that he has me covered, even if there isn't a RPG guy around, I get hit with a mortar round and die.
Am I doing something wrong, is there somewhere I was supposed to go? Is this a glitch, or am I just unlucky?

i was playing MW2 this week and the game froze........i waited about 8 mins for it to come bak about but it was not use......none of the buttons worked......so i had to force shut it down.....THEN when i switched it back on it didnt read any discs at all! I've been playing it on XBox 360 and its fine. To me, I think its a very decent multiplayer. People who generally camp typically get the nice surprise of getting knifed in the back. From what I've seen, it all balances out in the end, and not THAT many people camp.

As far as using Cold Blooded + Ninja Pro, that's up to the person. To me, that was essentially the same as using UAV Jammer + Dead Silence in CoD4, and no one complained about that. Either way, there's plenty of people like me that still play MW2 and love it. If they don't like it, that's fine, they can go play something else. I just don't think their reasoning is backed very much from what I've experienced.

I have no idea why people hate Shepard so much. What's not cool about lighting someone on fire with a lit cigar?

I just straight up never prestiged in the last game, but that was because I wanted to unlock at least one golden gun. Without that, though, I still probably wont, seeing as I still usually end up with one special class I really like, and don't want to have to sacrifice it for nothing more than a fancy new icon.
Speaking of the golden guns, why did they take those out? It was such a small thing from a programming perspective, but they were the shit. It really showed you knew how to use your weapon class when you used one.

If you can get a predator using only the shield you feel so good. Oh well if people call you a noob. It's there fault for not turning to run and throwing a semtex. You deserve to die if you don't do that. I have killed loads of people using shields with a knife, claymore, C4 and semtex. Try those if you suck.

I can't see how the Riot Shield is 'noob'. People are exposed from behind, they can't shoot with it, and you run slower with it. Plus it has a really bad melee attack - you need two hits, and the other guy only needs one.

I only play on Hardcore, so this may take some effect, but I'm sure it only takes one hit even on the normal modes.

I use the thing so much, I know it's 2 hit kill. When you don't play hardcore you probably hit someone who has been shot.

While we're on the topic of gold camos, I'm glad they took them out.

Mostly because Infinity Ward put the camos in MW2 in such fucking retarded places on the majority of guns.
