Hah. I never used it because I didn't think anything compared to the MARS sight. I might start now.
How do you get the STD title? I got it right after I knifed this guy and have no idea why.

Never seen this glitch but it looked pretty messed up. Maybe some one in the game made it happen???

Happened to me once. It didn't really do anything. I got my points and everything.
Pm me about anything, you cumdumpster.
Yes, I know I'm going to hell.
Hey, is anybody as disappointed as I am that the Desert Eagle is worse than the USP .45? Seriously, if you aim down sights with it, you can't hit anything with the recoil. You have to hipfire, and even then the recoil is rediculous.

MW2 tops it with 4.1 million copies downloaded. I'm sure its way past that now too. You can't tell me PC developers don't put games on PC for this exact reason.
I just love the 1887 akimbo. Don't you?

Or use Bling, and use Akimbo and FMJ on the 1887s. Brings them back to their original state.

I guess it's good if you can't aim, are slow to responding, and are generally retarded.
Yeah, it's good if you fall in that category.

PIRACY DOES NOT EQUAL A LOST SALE.
The majority of those people probably wouldn't have bought those game in the first place.
The rest were probably pissed off fans who decided to tell Infinity Ward their way of saying MW2 PC is terrible.
PC Gaming is not dead, that's been declared so many times, I'm getting tired of hearing people say that.
And finally, Infinity Ward screwed up Modern Warfare 2 (and not just the PC version, in general) to the point the only good thing is Multiplayer..on the consoles.
And how did they screw up on consoles?
And level 70!

They didn't, while the singleplayer's story still stupid as hell they took the multiplayer as hard as they could with the consoles.
They screwed up on the PC since they didn't take full advantage of the PC's capabilites, like dedicated servers. Or mods.
If it was a real story I'd be bored shitless, and what?!

For clarification, is that what?! a response to the "they took the mulitplayer as hard as they could with the consoles" or "They didn't take advantage of the PC's capabilites...."
they took multiplayer as hard as they could

Ok maybe i should have really worded that better.
I meant they took the multiplayer capabilities, and took that to what the consoles could take.

Uh, sure it does. Not all of those downloads are for the PC version. About 1 million are Xbox 360 copies. If there was no way to illegally download and play MW2 on their 360s the vast majority of them would have ended up buying the game. Whether it be new or used is up for debate.
Of course you could argue that some of the people that downloaded the game would have just not played it at all if they hadn't downloaded it illegally. Possibly. But looking at the number of people that downloaded it and wanted to play it so bad, that's a lot of possible missed purchases. The 360 version sold about 7 million with ~1 million illegal download. The PC version sold a lot less than the 360 version and had ~4.1 million downloads. They lost a ton of sales.

No, no it doesn't. Your assuming that people who would waste their time downloading a 8 GB game would buy it if there was no torrent for it. 8 GBs take a loong time to download even with DSL, so I say the majority of pirates are freeloaders. Same thing goes for the 360 Copies.
Of course you could argue that some of the people that downloaded the game would have just not played it at all if they hadn't downloaded it illegally. Possibly. Of course the PC version had a lot of downloads, there are probably two reasons for that.
1: Its the hottest game of the year, and of course that means piraters in other countries like say Brazil or China will download it. So of that 4.1 million, and 1 million, think how many of that are people pirating it and professional piraters pirating it.
2: IW really, really fucked up with the PC version, so more that likely if that hadn't happen, PC sales would be bigger and there would be a small dent in downloads.
Ah yes, that brings me to another thing, piraters in other countries. In certain countries like say Brazil, which only just this year gotten the PS2 officially, games may be much more expensive or harder to get, so most people would probably pirate the game.
What? Do you really think people in Brazil that just got the PS2 can handle downloading, let a lone playing a game like Modern Warfare 2? They have mice chasing a piece of cheese on a string to run their computers.
Stereotypical racist remark aside, IW lost out on a lot of potential sales. If I did not have the option to download music illegally as a kid, I would have bought the CDs themselves. Being 13 with no job and having the choice between downloading unlimited songs for free or begging my parents to buy me the new Eminem CD wasn't really a hard choice.
Sure there are plenty of people who are just cheap and pirate everything and wouldn't have spent a cent either way, but you can't convince me that at least half of those people that pirated it wouldn't have dished out at least a steam download if there was no free alternative.

At the bottom of my post you'll see a image of Sao Salvador, the capital city of Bahia, a state in Brazil.
My god what a shithole.~

First, your assuming that about half of the base of the piraters who pirated MW2 are teenagers, I really doubt the majority of teenagers know how to make a(or convince their parents to buy a) $600 gaming pc when a Xbox 360 or PS3 is cheaper and more "user-friendly"
Second, this is not a 1MB song you could get for 99 cents on iTunes, we're talking about a 8GB game that's costs about $60, already $10 more than the average PC game. So while one could be bothered to actually buy the song if they couldn't find a free download of it, I really doubt if someone was willing to wait days to download a game, that they would pay for it if they couldn't find a torrent of it.

Your putting way too much faith in humanity here, your presuming that someone who spent days waiting for his download of MW2 to finish, that if he found out that it was a fake torrent, would just say screw it and just buy the game?
Not to mention we're leaving out China in this, I'm pretty sure with about I don't know, a 10 million pc gamers out of 1 billion people I'm sure there would be enough of them willing to pirate it/buy it at a lower price from a professional pirate. Fudge, Steam had to ban people for buying keys from foreign countries at lower prices then using it in their region.
And let's not forget the people who pirate games simply to try it, especially since there was no effin demo for the game so you had to pirate it if you wanted to see if it would run on your computer before you bought it.
.~ means sarcasm.

Very nice place. Center city Philadelphia looks very nice and rich as well, but the majority of the people who live there could not afford a P.C. or connection to run/download a game like MW2. I will give you the benefit of the doubt though.

No, I'm not assuming their teenagers (although I'm sure a lot of them are) I'm just giving an example of a common situation. I wouldn't cut apart teenagers so much though. A lot of times they sit around on the computer all day and end up becoming really good at things *cough* Newgrounds *cough*.

Broke/Cheap person who can get game for free OR some how dish out $60 + tax. There's plenty of potential downloads there.
Your putting way too much faith in humanity here, your presuming that someone who spent days waiting for his download of MW2 to finish, that if he found out that it was a fake torrent, would just say screw it and just buy the game?
If it is a fake torrent it wouldn't take days. Viruses and trojans are fairly small files. If it were to be fake they would find out fairly fast. Plenty of people do standard free shipping of 5-7 days as opposed to overnight simply to save money. It may not be the majority of people, but there are plenty people that would download something for free and wait a little if they don't have to go out to the store and dish out the cash.
Not to mention we're leaving out China in this, I'm pretty sure with about I don't know, a 10 million pc gamers out of 1 billion people I'm sure there would be enough of them willing to pirate it/buy it at a lower price from a professional pirate. There are literally billions of P.C.s in the world and there are ~35 million Xbox 360 consoles world wide. Yet the 360 version was the top selling version by far. You could argue that IW fucked up the PC version and people deciced not to buy it, but there are still plenty more people that would buy it regardless. Face it, the P.C. version got slaughtered with pirated downloads just like a lot of other PC games. 360 games almost always outsell their PC counterpart in software sales despite have an extremely smaller user base.
And let's not forget the people who pirate games simply to try it, especially since there was no effin demo for the game so you had to pirate it if you wanted to see if it would run on your computer before you bought it.
Here places like Blockbuster and GameFly lost out on money. Ever heard of renting? There should have been a demo or at least a beta of the multiplayer, but there wasn't. Downloading an illegal copy to "try it out" really isn't an excuse. Borrow it from a friend for free or rent it.
Look I'm sure there are people that just downloaded the game because they are cheap and wouldn't have bought it anyway and I'm sure there are people that downloaded it to "try it out" but there are millions of people that downloaded it just because they can get it free. The same thing goes on everyday with streaming movies and T.V. shows online. All the time people mention how they don't buy movies or go to the theaters because they can stream/download movies and T.V. shows to their P.C. illegally. Now they have things like Hulu and Netflix where you can do it legally but still some people will just go on sites where some user uploaded the movie themselves.
You know what SlipperyMooseCakes? Forget I said anything. About every person I met that had this conviction that Piracy is something that is killing or at least harming PC Gaming, no matter how much I and others have tried to convince them otherwise that the industry is fine and the only reason console versions sell well is that people are too stupid/too lazy/just want a console to build or buy a gaming PC; they never changed their stance on it.
So, ignoring that, and since i really don't want to start a flame war by accident by talking about the PC version, let's talk about the plot holes of MW2, I'm sure all of us were rightfully confused by the plot, especially since CoD4 made logical sense.
Oh yeah, another reason why I'm stopping the debate now, started way too many flame wars thanks to piracy arguments, now I'm trying to catch myself before I go past the point of no return.

Fair enough. I see no reason why we both can't be right though. I'm sure there are multiple reasons for downloading a game illegally.

Like the fact that Makarov walks through a fucking airport without a mask on and nobody gets video footage of him during the shooting?!

Actually no, it gets even stupider, there is video footage, its in the loading screen for Takedown, you have to look carefully. And the video footage has a shot of MAKAROV'S FACE...granted its not a closeup, but still!
And then the EMP scene, oh god the amount of physics broken would make a physicist cry...
For example, a nuke would need to explode at 30 miles high in order to cause a blackout over most of the Eastern Seaboard, for comparison, the ISS is usually 200 miles high, not to mention it was over the Gulf of Mexico, so how the fuck did it blew up from the nuke.
Second, why the fuck did the astronauts think that the missile could have been an unplanned satelite launch?! The ISS crew is supposed to keep track of any signs of war, so they should have been rushing to get to the Soyuz craft which were attached to the ISS.
Third, why the hell does the ISS look like it's still in the early stages while the ISS today looks like this?!
