Just got back from the Midnight launch, boy you guys sure do like this game. Had around 80 people show up to pick it up.

I walked over to the midnight release when I got out of my shitty job to bother my roommate, an employee at the game store. We have two gamestops in our mall, both had lines of 100+ strong. I just sat around and watched.

But I had kind of a thought. Isn't it a tad.... socially irresponsible to give tens of thousands of teenagers night vision goggles?

I played it all yesterday with my friends and it is pretty damn sweet. I think that the riot shield is going to get nerfed for sure. My friend had Lightweight and Marathon on and he was sprinting up to people and bashing them down with his shield. He had sooo many points but he had like 3 kills because you get points when they shoot at your shield. Half my friends decided to use riot shields one game and they were just about invincible.

Even though I didn't buy it myself, my brother did because I'm a poor bastard.

I haven't even played the Campaign or Spec Ops mode, but I don't care.

I'm eager for the AK-47 :3

Going in town to buy a keyboard today, I'll look in on the off chance they have any preowned copies already. Bobby Kotick isn't getting my money, but I still want to play it.

I will be picking this up at around 2:30 P.M. today. It's not that I'm necessarily a big CoD fan, as much as it was an excuse to get both a new Xbox 360, two new controllers and a copy of the game.

Sainsbury's and Morrison's are both selling it for around £26, if there are any in your area.

I left at 11pm for my midnight launch, the que was small when we got there, about 10 people ahead of us, but the doors didnt open until midnight and after they did open it took about 10 minutes of pushing forward to get my copy. Around 200 people turned up in the end, I felt sorry for the people at the back.

I've just tasted some of the multiplayer.

Fuck me, is it good.

Lucky for me, I won't even need to get the game at all as my sister got the game herself today. However, she's in London so I can't exactly play it right away but when I go there in 2 weeks time, I'll be sure to give it a go to give myself a good opportunity to see what it's like and maybe look into the other Call of Duty games if I'm more than interested (getting them pre-owned, of course).

Didn't have any yet, but whatever, I can't really afford it anyway, and I have a shit ton of stuff unfinished too.

Both ASDA's I went to were out of stock. Then my dad drove me to another one and the guy was like "Oh yeah, for which console?" and I got exited and said xbox and he just said no. :(

There were about 20 middle aged men standing outside sainsburys this morning. Didnt realise it was coming out today and for only £25 because I could of got work to reserve me a copy :(

I went to Sainsbury's earlier but of course it was sold out, so I bought some Jaffa Cakes instead...

I just got home with mine. I'll be running it on a macbook pro using windows 7 on parallels desktop. either I will destroy the world, it won't work, or it'll be awesome.

I'll be leaving in like an hour to go pick up my pre ordered copy from Future Shop.

Nothing better go wrong as usual.

Seriously, I know it's meant to be a good game and all, but WHY would you want to camp outside a game shop for hours, just to get a game a day or so before the rest of people with lives?

Its funny how much money Gamestop milked off all the launchfags who preordered it. Preorders are such a scam.

There's no way in hell the game would sell all copies at a major game distributor on it's first weekday release. I guess they couldn't think very well after they played the first MW untill their brain's grey matter dissipated.

Five bucks TOWARD the purchase of the Game. They don't just pocket it, it comes off the total Price of the game. For all the bashing your doing you don't seem to KNOW shit about game releases.

My mum got it for me today for £26 and it's undoutably the greatest game I have ever played on.
When I played story mode I almost came.

I just played this at my school's video game club today, and I'm very impressed! The levels are nicely rendered, the weapons are new and badass, and the new kill steak bonuses are awesome! I love getting that guided missle and watching as it hits it target. Almost got to use the AC-130, but the game ended. (Only played 4-Player Splitscreen)

I have just completed the campaign on veteran. In comparison to CoD2, CoD4 and WAW id say it's really easy to beat on Veteran. There didnt seem to be much grenade spam going on at all really.

I found the story quite fun, and im upset so and so died. Ah well.

No just intel & Spec-ops left achievement wise.

Multiplayer is awesome, i love the throwing knife <3

I did not pick this game up. I will be getting New Super Mario Bros. Wii. So, sorry, I can't comment.

I think you're right about less grenade spam, which personally, I thought was the biggest problem with WaW. Also, I think they've removed the 'Grenade Drop' perk from multiplayer. At least, I couldn't see it.

Same, I really liked the ending though.

Oh no, who died? I know Capt. Price died at the end of the original Modern Warfare, so...is it Soap?
And by the way, I think Capt. Price is the grandson of the first Capt. Price in the first Call of Duty.

Oh yeah when I was looking at that list I did not see a Martyrdom. Good good. Even though I used it, but that was just because other people did! >:(

I can't believe there's still a Last Stand to worry about though.
