I played a little of it today at a friends (hes got a chipped xbox), after playing through the Airport scene he asked me what I thought of it, I simply said "It was pretty sick", to which he replied "What the fuck? I loved killing those civilians!"

Really, it was quite bad...

Throughout the Airport mission, I like "OH SH-" most of the time. I can understand the 18 certificate now.

Amazon were kind enough to give me a preordered copy today. Sadly, the multiplayer servers are still offline. Anyway, I sat down for five hours to complete the campaign, which is amazing. Anybody who even considers not buying this game is missing out on some instense stuff. I loved every minute of it, except the parts where I died. But then again, who like dying?

Is this for PC? Because there have been streams of MW2 since it got leaked out for the 360 like a week ago, and people have been playing online.

I'm quite angered at the fact that everyone is playing this game before me.

Just beat single player on Normal difficulty. It took 4:47. Game isn't very long at all. I don't really play FPS games for single player anyways.

Anyone going / gone to the midnight opening to buy it?

I'm on the third mission on the second act at the moment. Looking forward to some multiplayer though.

Sadly, I pre-ordered from Amazon and my copy doesn't arrive until midday.

My friend pre-ordered from GAME on Friday, and got the game a day early though, lucky bastard.

meh they openly stated the sp was gunna be as long as the first games.

i get my copy in 2 and half hours, but i'll probably only play it for 30 minutes and go to bed cause i got a test in the morning. Sucks but hey i get to play it all day tommorow.

lol at the metacritic scores right now... it's only 5 or so reviews, but its still funny.

Personally, I'm just renting it. $60 is alot to invest these days and I wasnt overly impressed with COD4. I did rather enjoy the single player campaign though and the campaign for MW2 looks like great fun aswell but when it comes to multiplayer, I much prefer Battlefield over Call of Duty... I already have my preorder for Bad Company 2 paid off and am looking forward to jumping into the beta on the 19th. Its just a different style. I love me some vehicles :P . Im gonna go rent MW2 tonight from blockbuster though and I'll prolly play the multiplayer for a good couple weeks after I beat the campaign so if anyone wants to add me my PSN is CkGordon.

Anyone anticipating perfect 10's from IGN and Gamespot??

Maybe 9.7's, but I'm sure it will be way higher than CoD4's measly 9.0 score in Gamespot, and already most reviewers gave it perfect scores.

Personally if I was a reviewer, I would instantly slap on a perfect score. Screw the single player, it's HECKA polished which is all that matters, mainly because no one really cares for an FPS' single player anyway. Multiplayer is the real deal, and it seems like one of the most replayable multiplayers ever.

I cannot wait.

Tomorrow is a day in history for me in video games.

OMG I JUST GOT BACK FROM MY PRE ORDER EVENT AND I decided to not get it tonight. There I was, showing up 30 minutes early to my store thinking "There might be a bit of a line." I drive up and am greeted by an around the block circus.

No game, is worth a 2-3 hour line. Not a single one. I'll get my copy tomorrow with little to no wait and I'll be happy. Good night.

There is a big ass line formed in front of my local gamestop.
