Well the DLC I can forgive, since basically what the hell else are you paying for in Xbox Live? PSN has all / will be getting all the features that XBL has.

What else more can Microsoft add? Twitter, myspace, facebook, Last.FM can all be used on the PS3 Internet Browser. Avatars are a shitty version of Miis and are better off on Playstation Home. Party chats are coming to PS3. Netflix is on PS3 now. Online play is free on PS3 and most times we get content for free.

Things like Netflix, Party chats, etc were all on Xbox Live first and weren't part of it at launch. Microsoft has put a huge focus on Xbox Live this generation and is their biggest strong point. If you look at Xbox Live in 2005 v.s. 2009 most big features today weren't available then. The thing with Xbox Live is that Microsoft creates services people didn't even know they wanted. The PlayStation Network is the opposite. Most of the updates revolve around things the competition has and people have been wanting for a long time. While this is fine, it does nothing to really expan online gaming for consoles. Saying things like "Oh it will come to the PlayStation soon" and "What else could they add?" are pretty ignorant and close minded statements.

Just got it today and first impressions are: It's fun as hell. Just doing the training mission is fun (to be honest, more fun than MW). I managed to get the time low enough for it to recommend Veteran. My advice is simply this: M9 and USP (USP as the main weapon). You'll see why.

Infinity Ward has revealed those gamers lucky enough to bag an early copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on PC will not be able to play it until tomorrow.

Following the news that some US retailers have broken the street date for the game, gamers asked Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling whether they'd be able to play early.

"[I]f you bought a retail copy on PC, you can play it on 11.10.09," replied Bowling on his Twitter page.

The game utilizes Valve's Steamworks technology, meaning it will not 'unlock' until release day.

In other news, since asda is selling it for £32 until THURSDAY MIDNIGHT, I'm going to ask my dad to get it me!
