The BBFC have given Modern Warfare 2 a 18 certificate, the first time for a COD game. Remember that World at War involved people being burned alive, limbs being blown off, very naughty language and that was rated 15!

This game is going to be extreme.

If IW did anything right with PC, it was ditching PunkBuster, which is a headache for probably half the players. I've had to find workarounds too many times for that piece of shit program. Just today I was being booted off because it was conflicting with my GPU temp/fan monitor, but thankfully the latest version included a "stealth mode" which was made primarly to bypass PunkBuster.

It's pretty shit when OTHER companies have to reprogram their software to work with PunkBuster, instead of PunkBuster making some changes of their own so it stops conflicting with legit programs. Lazy fucks.

If it's any consolation, they've drastically improved the process when your console gets the RROD. It's all online now, and you don't even have to talk to anyone. You put in your info, and they send you a shipping label. Granted, you now have to provide your own box to ship it in and pad it yourself, but the shipping is free from any UPS store. I'm currently undergoing this process and it was much better than before when you did have to call in. There's no denying that being without my 360 has been annoying, but at the very least, they finally woke up and made the process of getting it fixed much more bearable. Now if only they made a console that didn't fail.

Also this will be Xbox number 5 for me.

i'm still buying MW2. i do care that there are no dedicated servers. which acts more like a thorn in the eye then a whole reason to boycott the very existence of the game.

Well, every Call of Duty since 3 has gotten the 17 rating (Mature) in North America. Wont change much for me, but I'm wondering what pushed it over the edge?

Hmm.. I don't want MW2 spoiled for me especially if IW didn't want us to see those videos because I'd rather be like "WoW" when I play the game for the first time instead of being like "This game is spoiled."
