At school my Spanish teacher was asking people what thier heritage was. When she calls on me I say "I'm German." and immediately like the whole class screams "NAZI!" Why is it that whenever I reveal my German heritage people assume I am a Nazi?

Germany is one of the least racist nations in the world, believe it or not. It's very accepting of other cultures even though there is an insignificant minority, unlike the United States with its very large minority population and rampant racism.
