I think right and wrong is completely relative.
We believe it is wrong to kill people. But then again we are people. Whether or not something is wrong is a decision. Someone decided that killing people is wrong. Stealing is wrong. Fighting is wrong.Right and wrong isn't this black and white. There is a good reason for anything.
We don't like killing because that would mean we could get killing. We don't like stealing because we like to have stuff. We don't like fighting. Well some of us do, but some people can't fight so they don't like it. It seems that all this stuff that is designated wrong and in most cases illegal is designed to protect people who can't protect themselves. No wonder the world gets over populated.

Watch Pulp Fiction and study how each and every character portrayed share completely different standards of morality.
Some good shit.

It is all relative. I grew up in a society that condemns murder, but if it's for a just cause, it could be considered right by some and wrong by others. In the mind of the decider, the decision usually is right, because he/she chose it, unless they wanted to make a wrong decision on purpose. But would that intentionally wrong decision be right?
Also, a person could make a decision he/she thinks is right, but the person themself might even call it a wrong choice at a later time.
Humans are different and change their views.

Right and wrong are really subjective when you think about it.
There is today's society and the laws, principles, and morals that go with it as established over a period of time by just...people. Who is to say they were right?
Now you can take into account religion and people placing things into existence from knowledge they gained from deities or the deity themself putting things into existence, but that is a whole nother matter. If that said religion/s is/are correct than that is black and white and the way it should be.
But when it comes to people and the rules they make/break it is always a shades of grey/gray type thing.

Duly noted.
Thank you for sharing your opinion. But see, we already have opinions of our own. We don't need yours.

Right and wrong are opinions. Whats right to one person can be wrong to another. People will always have differing opinions.

What is wrong is harming another person or their property, or depriving them of their liberties.
That's pretty much the definitive moral absolute.

I think "right and wrong" vary more between cultures than between individuals. There are a few things that will largely be considered "wrong" by a majority of the people and in cases where said things are "right" it is likely an exception due to extenuating circumstances.
I think what it boils down to mostly is fairness. We think stealing is "wrong" because the person who earned their means through honest ways should not have to endure the misfortune of that all being taken away for no reason and through no fault of their own. Yet when someone has a large sum of money, we see it as unfair if they hoard that money and use it only for their own benefit. Rich people who give back to the community are more respected and seen as people who "do the right thing". Similarly, if someone gains a large sum of money through coercive means we may see it as "right" if another individual comes along, takes from that sum of money and gives the money back to the people so the wealth can be shared.
Or maybe I'm just rambling.
