Since this case is supposed to represent NG and the community, I decided to dedicate a spot for names to be put on the case. Information here.

Since that case looks up to it, why don't you line the outisde of the case in orange?

Eh, the name wall sounds good. However it's going to be on the inside of the case, and nobody is going to see it.

I'm inside my case a lot, and it's on the right side, not covered by any hardware, so it's visible to me when the case is open, and of course anyone I'd want to show it off to. I'm glad you're more on board with this idea. ;D

I'm going to be stealthing the DVD drive, for those who don't what that is, you'll find out soon enough. The first step was to open up the drive and solder wires to the leads for the power switch. I'll be ordering a fancy power switch later to hook it up to.

I'm going to be using 2 fans on my CPU cooler. Since they're louder than the rest of the fans and also higher flow, I'm going to be using the included controller knobs. But two fans on two controllers is boring. I decided to do some splicing.

Thy window hath been mounted.

The next major part of the mod will be cutting out the NG skyline. If anyone could provide me with a nice looking template for the NG city measuring 16'' long, you WILL have your name on the case.

That skyline would probably look pretty sick against the orange lights.

It's 12 by 1.5 inches when I open it in paint, which doesn't exactly make for a good window. My intention is not to capture the entire skyline, but instead the buildings with the most personality. Specifying height would've been a good idea when I requested it.

16'' by 6'', capturing the best buildings of the skyline. This calls for a custom resizing, and I know there are plenty of people here who can do it better than I can, including you.

You're a high candidate for being on the case for the effort. Just make sure to post in my blog so I don't forget.

That's my dad's computer. It's currently in fine condition, and even survived me taking the video card out.

Most of my computer parts are already black. I was planning on painting the interior a glossy orange for contrast and to really drive the theme home. Most likely this shade.

BRAINSTORM TIME!

Rig suggested tank treads. This would make for an amazing touch to the case. While pretty in concept, the practice is ugly. I haven't the vaguest idea what I could use to make mini treads. I need help on this.
