Yeah I just noticed that. A bow sounds lame on paper but maybe it's good in game.

I'm guessing that it'll shoot faster, but be weaker than the rifle itself, and slow down whoever it hits.

so it'll take about 2 fully charged headshots to down a heavy

Seems like a very good choice for people good at aiming

Just one more month, I'll be home in a month...

So this is basically a Natascha for Snipers? Pretty cool, more eager to see what their other upgrades will be. Can their melee weapon be anything other than a boomerang or didjeridoo? WILL THE LAW OF STEREOTYPES ALLOW IT?

How is it a natasha for snipers ?

It's only a bow, with no scope that charges faster.

And that also pins enemies to wall when they are killed.

And leave arrows on them.

But if a spy is shot and goes invisible, will the arrow stay visible ?

Well Pounce was saying he reckons it will be weaker than the rifle but slow them down. It only says it pins dead enemies to the wall and that wounded enemies just have an arrow stuck in them.

Yeah it should also mix up the position of Snipers, which is a good thing and probably just what they intend. I'm just wondering whether the arrow will arc in the air or just travel straight like a bullet.

Same here, I feel it's too soon to mention the next update. Announcing it a month or two later would have been more appropriate, but oh well, they've mentioned it now. I am looking forward to what the Sniper update will have along with the Huntsman.

Hell yeah ^_^ I love sniping in games but I never liked the rifle in TF2 for some reason, this should be fantastic though. Can't wait to see what else there is.. the SMG isn't very good in my opinion, the blade is pretty good but we'll see what they do with that :P

So, Valve is trying to make all the Snipers go into close range combat?

Like hell that will work. Almost every TF2 sniper runs like hell the moment an engineer gets within two feet of his shotgun range.

It says it CHARGES in one second. Not reload.

It doesn't say it doesn't slow people. All it says is it doesn't stun. There are lots of good things that don't stun. In fact, the only thing that does stun is the sandman baseball and that can't possibly the only non-useless thing in the game.
