The trick to getting out of jury duty is saying you're prejuediced again all races.
Hmm, classic...

lol wow
doing jury duty is part of being an american citizen
unless you've got something even more important than that (death in the family, infected with a disease, etc.) suck it up and go.
they even reimburse you for loss of wages and crap i think

I just had my first jury duty last week. I had to go in for a couple of hours on Monday, then they called my number and said I needed to call back for the next couple of days to see if I needed to come back for this panel thing I was gonna be on. But then that got canceled. Dunno what it was even about.
When I first asked my boss, he said the company I work for didn't reimburse you, but then later it turns out that they did. It's up to where you work whether you get paid back the difference of the hours you missed. But yes, the state will pay you. It comes out to something like 5 dollars an hour, but it's not taxed.
There, now all of you know what to expect in 10 years when you're old enough to worry about this boring, boring process.

I pissed myself laughing when I read the line, "I'd rather count the wrinkles on my dog's balls than sit on a jury." HAHA!
