Trust me, anatomy can be such a bitch sometimes. It's quite hard to get the right proportions and correct anatomy, so don't go hating yourself because most of us at some really sucked at it. It's not all that bad. It's some real progress I might say.

Thanks I need to keep practicing, I'm currently working on a pic that's more back to my roots sort of style.

OH FFFF- I KNEW I WAS FORGETTING SOMETHING... Ears bah I hate drawing those things
Why not look at his other tutorial where he actually shows a side profile shot, instead of just a skull.

glacier look at head shots, do some studies itll help, theres improvement from your old stuff here plus ears arent perfect ovals
Yeah, also the way your stroks look seem like you only move your hand. Try moving your whole arm when you draw, it helps make straighter lines and rounder shapes. A little trick I learned is to look at the place where you want the line to end and draw to that point, it helps me make straighter lines.
I think if you just look at some pictures and maybe recreate them, notice some common "measurements" with people's body parts, you can usually do this with the head.
I like your style and it's awesome you are trying to improve
Who is the hunter?

I find it easier not to go into how the body is structured on the inside and just stick to how it looks on the outside.

You shouldn't be restricted by your tools, try and learn to use whatever you have.

I completely agree with you. I meant just to use the picture he has of the side profile shot with it's proportions, just ignore the talk about the muscles.
He said he used a tutorial, and when I followed his link, it was a tutorial about the skull. Now it's good and dandy to learn about the skull proportions and all, but it wont help you as much in placing the ears, the nose, etc.
Well I did that whole exercise to see if I could rebuild a human face from a skull not if I could copy a picture down well.

Well, if you want to do that, I suggest drawing out the skull first, and then adding on the facial features. That way you already have head proportions to work with.

It seems like the perspective of the ground isn't consistent with the perspective of the object (altar...?). The shadows cast by the object aren't consistent with the primary source of light (the orb) or the secondary source of light (ambient light/glow from the sky, which isn't there at all and should be).
Speaking of light, using a gradient as an object generally makes it appear too artificial. Draw out the actual orb and utilize highlights and shading on the objects around it to express that it's radiating light. If you need to, a soft and subtle gradient around the edges can work, but you shouldn't rely on it to represent your object for you.
I do like the detail that you put into the crumbling at the top of the pillars, but I feel like the background is lacking that element both in regards to the shading and the textures that would make it seem realistic.
These are pretty awful. The time you're spending showing these off could be better spent learning how to draw.

There's no need to be rude, especially without offering any specific constructive criticism.

Elaborate constructive criticism won't do this 12-year-old any good.

I know. That's something I enjoy :)
We've had plenty of forum dicks, we don't need another...
Rude, fine, have a reason for it.
