I made this one thing in flash and wouldn't classify this as calming in my other thread so I'll just start my own art thread. I promise Im going to do things longer than 15 minutes at least, or allot of effort put into my art.
No lets start with this:

Honestly, I can't really tell what I'm looking at. Is that the back of someone's head or the front?
In any case, I checked out your profile and the character designs you posted on there are looking pretty good. Post some stuff like that in this thread so people can see what you're actually capable of.

Lol anatomy books would be a good place to start. xD
Thanks I suck at anatomy.
I did too... I never bought a book on anatomy or studied it... i just kinda develped my skills myself but I'm sure you will learn quicker if you study yourself.
also I found a good way to go about it is to emuilate a style you like then get good at it. When you do you start developing your own style from it.
Heres one that I did for a school project, I suggest not using the information, I haven't checked it's sources yet.

This one looks really cool for a game or something like that

I think its good, but even with the cloak/cape thing, the shoulders should stand out a little more
Sorry this ones so big, anyways after reading through a anatomy book this is the result (also more concept art) It's a zombie leader that carries a giant spore case on it's back. (Also I will be submiting my best art to the art portal)

Never mind on the size I miscalculated
Trying something different today I tried the pen tool! *gasp*
I hope everyone like's it it's my interpretation of angry face
I have had this guy in my head for a while and decided to draw him in flash, if anyone want's to use him as a image to say "seriously?" go right ahead.

Don't you mean I need to get better at the anatomy part of things? Or you just looked at the faces and nothing else I drew?
Here's one I drew yesterday, it's a wicker basket soldier, their armor regrows after each battle replacing lost limbs so the soldier can keep going on. Eventually the wicker basket armor itself is all that's left, it takes the personality of the original wearer and knows all the wearers original abilities.

but i still think ur too young to be on this website
I would say you're much more immature than him. Besides, what you said has no bearing on anything.
Anyway, as for the drawings, they're looking good. The ones done on paper are especially good. I would just try to make things look less rigid. Letting the pencil flow and move more loose should do the trick.
