I don't know if I'll be able to go to these upcoming Newgorunds meet ups anytime soon, but I think it would be pretty cool if they have one somewhere in Texas. Just an idea after all, anyone likes this idea?

My biggest concern with this sort of meet up is that we need money, and I was only making this thread to see if Tom Fulp would ever consider it in the first place. I am glad that you like the idea, but getting a meet up to work will be very difficult.
I think we need financial help.

True, finance would be a problem. Besides, there's enough meetups planned as is.
Still would be nice though. Maybe Tom might take this into consideration.

The chances of me going are slim either way. Why dont we just see where the majority of us live at through google maps and try to find a good mid-point and area we can all agree on.

Do not get me wrong, but this idea has been brought up before in the past. I would recommend that this would be a 16 or older event. The best places to do something like this would be either in Houston, Austin, or better yet a state park. Since it is summer time, I would like to see a New Braunfels meet up since there is a kick ass water park there. This water park is widely known as Schlitterbahn.

Though the reasons for my staying there are music, that is not what I had in mind. I wanted to brush up on my lyric writing (I like his use of syllables) and get into more of the "artificial" type of music.
Couldn't bring my chord organ, though. Just my harmonica. Here's my first artificial music piece, inspired by Phobotech.
