Hi, I just got a Wacom Bamboo, and decided to finish up a game I started a few months ago.
(These sprites has been made recently, though)
I've got something ala SHOCK1/2 in mind (stick fighting, etc).
Here's a rough "sketch": The player is a prototype of the perfect Super Soldier. The government/scientists decide to execute him because of lag of control. The player discovers this and decides to escape when got the chance.

Here's some sprites (still editing, but tell me what you think!)

I need a pretty experienced (and serious) programmer for this. I don't care what AS language (AS2 or AS3) you're programming. I don't even know the difference.

I would, I mean I do have a few platformer engines lying around, ready for tweaking, but do you have any art samples that are a little bit more impressive?

Oh yeah, you're the author of that Mushshroom Kindgdom thing. Ya you're pretty good.

I'd love to code the game for you, and it probably won't take more than a week to finish all the programming, but I'm extremely busy this week. So if you can wait a week or two, y'know finish all the art work level design and everything, I'll be done by then.

Feel free to take another programmer if anyone offers.

Specs:
50/50 split of any income (sponsor, ads)
FPS 30

UPDATE
(NOTICE: many of the sprites "lags" a bit. That's because it's supposed to fit one of the other sprites.)

Example: One of the kicks fits to the run animation. Therefor the kick starts as one of the "run" frames)

Yeah, I know..
Basically it's a style I'm trying, but I think I'm going to add the arms later.

I think it looks better without the arms, much more original than the mass of other stick games and animations

Thanks for the comment! It's just pretty hard to make a climbing animation without any arms :P
Anyways, I think I stick to this style.

Anyone at all want to make this game with me? It's a platformer including a fighting engine (combos etc.)

Lol, I mean.. to get onto some high places, you got to jump. Sometimes that's not enough; then you need to jump and climb onto the thing.

yea sorry about the art, kinda sucked but maybe something like a flip in the air that gives some extra height?

For climbing, you could make him run up the wall, or walk if he has suction feet. ;)
