For me, it's Pokemon games. I never got into the show, the cards, or the games, and yet, they're still popular today.

I have no idea why, just never really liked it. It's still a good game by my standards, aside from the fact that I don't really have fun playing it.

agreed it wasn't even that good, considering the character status indicator which shows ammo, armor and that was badly animated and illustrated... that game deserves at most 7.5/10. iv seen free online fps games better than CoD4

I hate Yu-Gi-Oh. Just a knockoff card game, even the show was about the card game. The Pokemon RPGs are good, but I'm not into the cards or the show (especially after the first series.)
I know a kid that doesn't like Super Smash Bros. Brawl. That's crazy.

I would say Halo or CoD, but I have heard other people not liking them. The only game that I hate, but everyone else likes (or seem to, at least) is Street Fighter (as a series). I don't get what's so fun about it compared to, say Soul Calibur. Lack of any character customization makes the games feel generic and dull, and weapons combat is just more exciting to me.
