Paint.net is still a very useful program, and much more acceptable than MS Paint in my mind. At least it still has more tools and features than MS Paint which is an utter piece of shit program. Nothing ever made with MS Paint can hold a candle to anything made with any other program, free or otherwise.
And even though you left a few misplaced white pixels in between the arms, you still did a nice job cropping it. Well, not bad for a free program anyway. One great feature of Photoshop is that it has a defringe function which can get rid of any excess pixels leftover from cropping by hand with the eraser. Lots of people forget it exists and it shows, but it is nonetheless a vital and useful tool. Nothing looks more amateurish than that ugly boarder of white pixels. It can really ruin an otherwise good shop.

Even though I wasn't certain until just now, I've always suspected that you used The GIMP. It shows in some of the stuff you do. Again, GIMP is a great program considering it is free, and in the right hands it can do wonders.
Your animated gif was rather good, although a bit small. GIMP doesn't have as fine tuned a system for tweeking the file size of animated gifs, but the fact that it can make them makes up for it.
You've certainly got potential. With a little more practice and a more thoughtful comedic approach, you could certainly make a name for yourself.
