Glitched?
It works for me, if you stare at it long enough you kinda unfocus and it seems to change direction.
I used to think this was a fake, like it was a 3d object and would change direction at random times but when I was watching it with another person and I saw it change and he didn't, so it's definitely real.
I like pie
Oh God, it's a screamer, isn't it? It has to be.
It goes clockwise for me and I can't get it to change the direction. Oh well.

Nah, it's safe.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.
For me, it goes clockwise and switches to anti-clockwise after a while.
Oh, don't be so shy.
This here is my like page for my cartoons and stuff, if you like my shit, like my page
shameless plug down bellow
Fake. It's a really long loop. Clockwise then it changes direction.

Wrong. The animation is only 34 frames. Open the .gif file yourself and check.
The girl keeps going back and forward for me. Pointless test really.

You people aren't falling for this obvious bullshit, are you? Fuck people, it's just an optical illusion. You do NOT have a dominant brain hemisphere.
It flipped on me too, mainly when I waved my hand in front of it to distract myself. But interestingly when I was watching with my housemate he always saw the opposite to me, even switching direction at the same times.
I saw her go both clockwise and anti-clockwise. I was like wtf. My brain hurts alot now, mostly my left side.
If I focus I can make her go any direction I want, to the point where she's not even spinning, just moving from side to side.

The sig that I'm wearin? Awesomely made by Skaren!
Also, I like annoying Americans by calling English football "real football" and American football "rugby".-Lost-Chances
THAT IS SO COOL!
You can make it appear to change direction by staring at the foot that she is standing on... notice how it seems to be symetrical every half turn, and how it over laps. Make your self THINK that it is turning one way, because by JUST looking at the foot, you can see that it actually doesnt move

I think it really is how your brain perceives it .
When I look at the picture and its going clockwise , i would look away and read text for a couple seconds or so and it will switch to counterclock wise. Then when i right clicked the image and the options box came up i looked at the little symbols and it would switch.
It would go counter clockwise , or clockwise depending if i looked at it after reading/looking at text , or looking at a picture =/
Guys, be careful. I think DareDevilGuy is getting pissed off!
If you are having trouble seeing it go both ways, try the helpful images in the Wikipedia article posted earlier.
Clockwise for me, I found this page quite a while ago.
I have only seen it moving counter-clockwise once. I've tried to duplicate it, but failed.
The redesign happened, now my signature doesn't match anymore.
I got her going anti-clockwise so apparently i use the left side of my brian.

Hey there. Me too. I'm in touch with my feelings.
At 5/8/09 04:48 AM, DareDevilGuy wrote: This shit is bullshit. First of all: it switches on me. Second of all: the two parts of your brain work together and neither left nor right is dominant in people except for a couple of functions (language is mainly situated in the left hemisphere for example). But these asymmetrical functions are universal and the same in everone.
The two hemispheres do work together. However, in males, brain function is often very highly lateralised, and the majority of males will see the dancer rotating clockwise, and have difficulty seeing it go the other way. Females are more likely to be able to see it both ways, or see it switching, because neither hemisphere is dominant.
It's all about the perspective. looking down on her, her arms and legs move clockwise. looking up at her, upskirt style, her arms and legs more counter clockwise. In conclusion. it isn't left or right brain, it's just what part of her you look at, there are no switches, it's just perspective.
try this at hole and spin a pencil or ruler around, look above it, them beneath it.
You responded as a right brained person to 15 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 3 questions.
That's what I got.
It's a big heaping pile of bullshit, a picture can't determine which side of your brain you use. Left is logic and right is art, there's no way you can be all logical and not artist, you use both, just one side more that the other sometimes.
Just clockwise for me, I don't really get how you can see it any other way
