You are if your review gives constructive criticism. If you don't like it, tell why and how to make it better or don't leave a review at all.

Well if you read the review guidelines in the F.A.Q before posting, you wouldn't have to worry about your reviews being deleted. Negative criticism is allowed as long as it isn't malicious or broadly offensive towards the author (or anyone else). A good example of acceptable criticism would be this: "I personally thought that this game was dull and pointless. I suggest that in the future you add a better ending and more dynamic game play".

Remember, commonly deleted reviews are because of comments like "this needs to be blammed" or "why wasn't this blammed"; because (as the guidelines say) expressing feelings that the review should be blammed is illegal. And same goes with "how did this get ____ award?!".

It's been that way since the review guidelines were set in. I can't remember what year they were set in though. Anyways this isn't YouTube, we have reviews not comments.

Before this thread gets locked, I'll quickly point out that reviewing in general is a waste of time. If people disagree with your opinion, they can mark is as useless, and eventually get it removed. You have to review the same as everyone else. It's not really even the mods fault the vast, vast majority of the time. If it's really a stupid review, then yea, but otherwise, I've had plenty of reviews chucked because I didn't like the fucking video game joke or repetitive Foamy rant.
