How do you pass time in school?

What are your tips for helping class go faster?
My slowest class is English..
I hear if you just daydream time goes by faster but it's usually pretty slow.

English, *shudder* terrible bore. I find that listening to my iPod really helps, if your teacher allows it at least. If there is anyone around that you can talk to as well, that speeds it up a bit. If all else fails, sleep :)

Classes are meant for learning. If you get interested
in the material, time passes by as you're having fun.
If you just blow it off and stare at the clock the whole
time, it will of course go slower. I know it's pretty
easy to counter this with "Hey man, my teachers suck
and everyone in my class just dicks around." Well,
education is something our country benefits from,
so it's pretty simple to make it better with just one
letter to the school's board.

Ugh... My English teacher is the fucking DEVIL. she makes us keep the hair away from our ears so she knows we're not listening to an iPOD, and she has the desks set up so she knows when anyone talks, and who is talking....

At times, I would think of music in my head. If I have a piece of paper, I'd begin writing it down as I think of it. It's pretty cool, since occasionally I end up with an awesome piece of music!

If class is particularly slow, I just end up daydreaming.

Spanish in particularly is a class I end up daydreaming in mainly because I don't really need to listen to what the teacher is saying most of the time unless she's giving directions.

But generally I try to pay attention. If I get especially bored or disgruntled with being there, I'll leave to go to the bathroom to kill a few minutes.

Time flies when your having fun, most classes are quick for me because I have these things called friends, but if you want to be an anti-social douche play your MP3 player or your PSP/Gameboy Thingymajig. Portable entertainment is entertaining and portable, if it's really that boring it's worth the risk of getting caught using it in class.

It always passes slow for me. Since, I don't get to see my GF during class. I only see her at lunch which at my school is about 30 minutes long.
