Oh that Manny. First he takes a shit in the room out in left field when he was on the Red Sox (or was it just making a phone call?) Then he kills that baby while working on a new hair formula that makes your hair into insta-dreads. And now he's injecting chemicals into his eye/anus that just so happened to be banned from the MLB. I can't hold it back any longer guys.

IT'S JUST MANNY BEING MANNY LOL! Tune in to Manny Being Manny next week when Manny has an awkward dinner date with special guest star Joe Torre!

"You like these clams Joe?"

"I don't like these clams Manny." *Joe Torre face*

*laughtrack*

"Oh Joe, you SO crazy!"

"I hate you so much." *Joe Torre face*

"Ahahahahahahahaha!"

*laugh track* *crowd gives a standing ovation*

That's like cheating in video games. Yeah, it's sort of fun to watch, but not nearly as fun as just playing the game through. The point of sports is to see what a normal human can do with the abilities they were born with, not to see what drugs can make someone jump the highest, run the fastest, or hit the hardest.

It'd be awesome though because I want to see sprinters run 100m in 9 seconds and endurance runners last longe. Records are meant to be broken constantly. I'd suppose that you would have separate the groups into clean and steroids. It'd be fun to watch.

His suspension will be up, and everybody will forget about it as long as he ends up complying with what actually went on. The Dodgers fans won't care too much as long as Manny ends up leading them to the World Series.

Now the Dodgers are going to have to step up in his absence. They'll still probably be in the lead in their division once Manny returns from the suspension. Hell, they're already 6 1/2 games up on 2nd place.

They're in the NL West. These days, being a semi competent team in that division gets you the division title automatically. If they're already that far ahead of the competition then chances are good they'll end the season that way, especially when Mr. Ramirez gets back.

Busted for 50 games is still a pretty light 'sentence'.

They don't 'ban' him. They just go 'here we'll give you some time to go off the roids'.

That's part of MLB's "Three Strike Policy".

The first offense for something like this is a 50-game ban. Second offense gets you a 100-game suspension. The third strike means you get kicked out of baseball for good. Since Manny's a first-time offender, he gets the minimum penalty for it.

I think MLB really needs to look into stiffer penalties. Maybe the first offense is the 100-game suspension, the second offense is two years out of the league, and the third offense remains the same.

Don't do drugs. It's so simple, but rich people seem to have a tendency to do drugs anyway.

It seems to me that when people get rich, they're never as happy as they thought they'd be. So they turn to drugs, hoping that they'll do what all the money in the world couldn't do.

Cocaine is one of the reasons why Doc Gooden's career became messed up, he could've been a 300 game winner...

Yeah, if you get busted for drugs in most other sports, you're looking at a sentence of 12-18 months out of the sport and if you get caught after that, you'll be taking even more of a hit.

Well, make it up to a full season. 162 games, plus the postseason, regardless of when in the season you are (Manny wouldn't miss the playoffs now if he got stung for 100 games, would he?) Then 2 years and then out for good.

At the end of the day, he should have checked it out better, before he took the drugs.
