can go suck it.

- So, a woman get's shot in the face, has a face transplant and reconstructive surgery, and suddenly wants to raise public awareness about treating disfigured people as you would normal ones.

- Rawanda foundation: Donate money so kids in Africa can get an education

- Anti pot commercials: Don't smoke because it's bad for you.

- Newspaper ad about kids in with cleft lip, asking for donations for surgery

- Aids/diabetes bike/walk: pay people to walk/ride a bike??? what the fuck?

- Anti gun commercials: tell me I shouldn't own illegal weapons

- Anti racist commercials: I'm a closed minded bitch and I need to be constantly told through television commercials not to make fun of people who are of a different skin color.

- Going green: saved money, and the environment

- A commercial about the importance of eating healthy

===============

I am sick and tired of all this horseshit. All these special interest and awareness groups can go fuck themselves, I don't give a shit about some diabetic, nor do I care for a starving child in Africa. I don't do meth or pot, but I'm about to start just to go against the commercials. Even if I was some kind of pot addict, a little TV propaganda wouldn't stop me. Do these assholes honestly think they're making a difference with all those annoying ads?

What I find even more annoying are say, movements started to help out (fake example) south east asian amputee children by none other than a south east asian amputee guy. Some of these things are so specific to a certain cause, it kind of makes me wonder.... why specifically say, african children need an education as opposed to some other poor ass country? Why south east asian amputees rather than everyone?

Seems to me like people think this is some good cause, but I see it as some asshole(s) trying to make himself feel better.

Well they do and they are by raising public awareness. But theirs no need for your complaining. You don't have adverts where dogs are gonna write letters to you if you give them £1 a week. What the point if they waste all their money on ads and getting people to write letters etc.

You would think alot these organisations would group together because alot of them really are not that different.

X group helps sexually abused kids
X group helps kids on the streets
X group helps kids who are terminally ill

Combing these organisations that just focuses on kids, all animals and whatever else would be a much better solution.

But no apparently logic like that would be bad.

You hit the nail on the head O.o! Just like all those 'Save Mother Nature' funds. Why not group up and do a lot more together?
