So a few nights ago I found myself rummaging through my drawer for any old ps2 game I could play, since I was terribly bored. I then came across Kingdom Hearts, a game I played a good 7 years ago when it came out. Remembering how it was one of the best games I played during my preteen years, I popped it in my system and started playing. I have KH2 as well, and came close to finishing it when it was released, but I guess I got bored with the series since the games were so far apart from each other in release dates that I just moved on. Playing through KH1, I can see how childish the storyline is, but I very much enjoy action RPG's, and the gameplay is magnificent. Once I finish it again, I'll head to my local gamestop and pick up KH: Chain of Memories, a storyline in between KH 1 and 2, released for the DS and then later the ps2 with new graphics. I'm excited!
Actually now that you mention it, I was at Gamestop today and saw a copy of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2x for $2.99. I picked it up of course and couldn't wait to get home. The funny thing is, I created a character, and had the THPS 2 career 100% completed with him in 3 hours! It's good to know I haven't gotten bad at one of my all time faves.
I can't wait to go back through THPS 1 career later tonight.
I do that a lot when I don't have the money for new games. I'll go through all of my old gamecube games like Windwaker and Pikmin
Contra, mario bros, maybe some spiro or crash bandicoot.
Add me on Steam: blackford3
Add Me on Xfire: Olrdiscobear
One of the old games i took out was Fallout2
Which i enjoyed much more now because i understood a lot more what was going on :D
But yeh the game i would rly love to play again is the Crash Bandicoot 3 on PS ,which was my first console game.
Pullin out the old 64 is still awesome, no emulator can ...emulate the feel of the old 64 controller while you're beating the Skull Kid with the Fierce Deity mask.
(Cookie for getting reference.)
Originality isn't original.

I'm planning to play Morrowind, Ghost Recon, Serious Sam: The Second Encounter, and Oni (again).
I find myself going back to Jet force gemini and Grandia every now and then.

Well I was grounded from the computer for a few days and decided to play on my PS2, I was going through my games when I came across Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2. An incredibly old game but I remembered how much fun I had and how back then when I was a bigger DBZ fan, the game was such a big deal, I loved how awesome it was. So I decided to play it and I remember the last time I played it was ages ago as I was so bored of it, but now it was so fun. Unfortunately the disc is so old it's a little scratched and the game will pause for 10 seconds at various points throughout a fight and the CPU is a little laggy and incredibly easy. Luckily when I got the game I got a game guarantee, where basically if I pay an extra $5, if the disc ever gets scratched I can take it back into EB games and get a replacement disc free!
So I was planning on taking it in to get a new disc when I realized, it would be better to simply trade it in along with some old DS games (my DS was stolen but I may get a new one in future) and then buy Dragonball Z BT3, it's alot better and BT2 is too old.
Gotta love them old games.
Milons Secret Castle. NES. Beat it on first try.
A nest is a place where all of your dreams come true.
I play old games for nostalgia purposes often enough. The games I keep going back to are Crash 1 - 3, Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus and Tomb Raider.
I love Re-Playing Ocarina of Time.
Banjo Kazooie is also a great game that MUST NOT be forgotten. So I play it once every year or so.
I love the way there was ONE analog stuff and just two buttons, you did not even need the instructions just pop the game in and play.
imma play some UN Squadron now
Every now and then i find myself play YS:The Ark Of Napshtim.
Recently I started playing Final Fantasy IX again... good times.
