That equals trial-and-error. It doesn't make it more difficult, just more annoying.

Definetly not the best, but Deus Ex deserves some recognition. You could choose to play stealthily, and you had to play with stealth at the beginning, or you'd get your ass kicked.

I'd also like to give acclaim to the original MSX-2 game, Metal Gear. The first stealth game in existence, that became popular. Escape from Castle Wolfenstein admittedly came first.

My PSN ID is xscoot. Crazy, huh?

Does anyone know if their will be another game being added to the series at any point? I remember hearing that Blood Money was the last, but the ending left me thinking that there would be another.

Edios is making aother Hitman game.

So , YAR.

The Chronicles of Riddick games were always fun. Wait for someone to pass in the shadows....then go up behind them, stab them in the brain, and hide the body....

1)Splinter Cell Series(Especially Chaos Theory.Love that thing.Didn't really enjoy Double Agent)
2)Hitman Series(Either be normal stealth or diguise stealth)
3)MGS (I only have 2 and 4,and from what I've played,4 is more stealthy)

I say Splinter Cell is superior to the others,Hitman being the equivalent.MGS is a great game and all,but for the most part, I went through having to blast everyone away.Especially in 4.There was never any penalty for being caught as far as I know. You just had to hide, then it went from Caution to normal state. Splinter Cell however(for the most part) had an alert system, forcing you to think ahead and pay attenion to your enemies. Also sometimes, you didn't have the fifth freedom, so the option of death was out of the question.

I know this is going to sound crazy but Pokemon has some stealth in it.
You can't tell me you haven't tried sneaking past any of the other trainers on your way to the next town, that tension you feel when they turn the view to something else, or the fear in your heart when the '!' pops up over their head and you only have one pokemon with 10hp left.

If your just basing it around just Stealth then hands down it goes to Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, but if your basing it around Stealth/Action it would be Metal Gear Solid.

Metal Gear Solid/Series. If you can name a more epic game, I want to hear it. Because it doesn't exist.

There's only really two that stand out for me

1. Hitman
2. Thief

MGS, eh, not a fan, even though it blew the genre to smithereens (In a good way)
