Schools In London Nearly Shut (s.f)

Well in the past 3 hours one of my neighboring schools has got 5 confirmed cases of Swine Flu, all of them are girls in year 7 who go to the same school.

14 more cases (which are probably very likely now that pupils are affected) and London schools will shut for 1 week to 2 weeks or possibly more.

I am beginning to get paranoid as the school that caught it is like 10 min from mine, it could spread to my area fast :p

Do you know any people who have it?

Yeh I know, there is like a 1000 word description of what the school will do on their website (although I don't wanna give the link out) but big precautions are being taken.

Me too. I was told that if they do close, I will just be awarded my predicted grades. Can anyone confirm this?

Mine said that the school will use mock exam papers we did a while ago to grade us.

From what I've heard, if your school is closed for your exams, the date either gets shifted to later in the summer. OR, they use your predicted, grades..... and mine where shite.

I don't know anyone who has it, since my part of London doesn't have any known cases, but I don't really see much reason to be worried about it. I haven't heard of any deaths outside of Mexico, so it seems to be more tame than the media are making of it.
