Sure. I'll join even though I hate to say this. I don't actually own a gun, but I do know a good amount of things about them. Where do we start?

I would use mine to shoot targets. It seems like the cool thing to do.

Yeah, I wanna join this
all I have is a Jappanese assault rifle from ww2 [they all had to have the firing pins removed, and the sun chipped off before they could come into the country]
so all its good for is an antique, a colectable, but its probably worth some green, and its in really good shape, ill get a picture somtime this week

Here's a good topic: What's the best piece of marksmanship you've ever pulled off, or seen?
Personally, I hit a chickenegg (hey, they make good cheap targets) from 250ft away with my 1896 Winchester. Although, admitedly, I've only pulled that off a couple times.
The best I've ever seen, though was a bow champion hit a drop of water in midair from 100 feet away, WITH A FUCKING LONGBOW on the second try.

I do enjoy going to the range or out in the middle of nowhere and unloading a few rounds.
I speak from experience when I say that these clubs quickly run out of things to talk about, but I honestly do wish you all the best of luck, and I intend to check back from time to time and maybe even throw my hat into the discussion on occasion.

How thick are the plates? What are they made of?
Also, here's a conversation-starter (I hope):
What are your opinions of the US military's weapons? Do you think they could be better? If so, then what is better? Or what could they do to their weapons to make them better?
