I was just wondering. At certain points in time, as computers and the internet develops, you have to stop worrying about out-dated browser versions and browsers that don't support current features. There are stats that can be found online through sites like this.

However, those stats are representitive of everyone who happened to fall into that survey and may not accurately represent Newgrounds' userbase. Users accessing NG are more likely to have machines that are up to date with software and running higher screen resolutions than reported in these generic stats that various other sites catalogue. Just figured I'd throw open a quick pool on the matter and see how things went.

Also, the outcome of this thread might not be too conclusive, either, because the majority of people coming to the site don't actually use the BBS - just figured this thread might prove to be a bit of a 'divining rod'.

Ah OK then, I understand. It seems like most of us use 1280*1024 which seems like an average screen res to me. Since this is not going to be used for anything but an analysis then I guess I have nothing more to say.

I remember running 1024 x 768 and being proud of it being bigger than 800 x 600.

If you don't know and are using windows, right click in the desktop somewhere, select properties, then click the settings tab, and look for where it says "screen resolution." Mac and *nix users will most likely be savvy enough to find out how to do this in their environments.

For what it's worth, my resolution is 2400 x 3000 pixels.

No, I am just curious. I already know that the site works perfectly fine in 800 * 600 resolutions and anyone who has a machine running a lower resolution than that is, quite frankly, using a relic of a computer. Either that, or they have their settings extremely wrong.
