my flash is to big for newgrounds

yea i did that but its 16mb swf.

How the hell have you managed to make it 16mb? That's incredible.

Reconsider your approach. You've obviously got optimization issues. If you've got a large sound file but you're only using 2 seconds of that sound, go and cut the sound up. Optimize bitmaps as well. Worse case scenario, split the project up into 2 8mb swfs and submit it as two parts.

cut it up into a two parter ... you can upload two flash's a day so you can up load them together .

thanks thats a good idea, cheers but i think the file will corrupt the fla is 200 mb or so

maybe if you can dynamically import it? however, its still gonna be tough finding a uploader that doesint mind 16 mb

ive been working on it for over a year its alot of frame by frame and has 3 songs in it.

If you've been working on it for a year, then I assume it's very good. I suggest PMing Tom or Wade to allow you to have a bigger upload limit size. Much better than splitting it.

You can try overriding your sound settings, you can find that somewhere in the publish settings.

Here's what you do, copy every frame (right click the timeline- select all frames, and then copy them, copying might take some time. Then open up a new flash doc and paste those frames there, and do that for every scene you have.

It will clean up your library and most likely lower your file size (i know this as its worked for me before)
