Pfeh, I don't know. I feel like we'er OD-ing on medals now with Pico day. In portal defenders it was a cool feature and sure, there are some games that deserve medals. But the medals that are there right now are a few too many to my taste.

I have a few suggestions for Dad 'n Me as well. This is another of my favorite games. I still play it regularly. However, it is a much simpler game than Newgrounds Rumble, so it's more difficult to imagine creative and challenging medals for this game.

Medal #1:School's Out (Or some other education related pun)

That is 17 medals for a total of 210 points if my count is correct.

I don't know if it would be a good idea to give a medal for beating every enemy that can damage you, but I can't decide which deserve medals or not. So, I left it up to Tom.

Also, the names for these medals should probably be related to school or children. Alas, I am not clever enough to think of names for most of these medals. If anyone else could help, it would be most appreciated. As always, please tell me what you think of my suggestions. Thank you. Bye.

I like that Newgrounds Rumble idea. I also think that the other Thing Things should have medals associated with them in addition to Thing Thing Arena 3

This is certainly a good idea, to open up to other people for suggestions, it might also be a good way to watch over the use of the medal system, using 'medal mods' of such to confirm someones use of medals before the game be submitted to the portal, sort of in the same way 'icon mods' work.

Here's some suggestions I thought of for K-FED: Dancing with fire. A pretty decent game I'v eplayed more then my fair share, Thought I'd use all that unnecessary knowledge of xbox achievements to see if I could do a better job.

K-FED: Dancing with Fire, by TomFulp Type: Game Rating: Ages 17+

#1: - 'What was that site again?' - Watch the explosive opening (5 points)
image - The NG logo would probably suffice for this jokey achievement.

#2 - 'Introducing...' - Watch the intro. (5 points)
image - I'd have to say a half and half image of the bouncer and K-Fed.

#3 - 'IMMA ' CHARGIN....' - Daze K-Fed and hit him with a super charged blow. (10 points)
image - Gotta be the meme picture.

#4 - 'Fun for the whole family' - Land a punch on K-FED, Britney and junior. (10 points)
image - Britneys angreh faic, clearly.

#5 - 'Cirque de Preston' - Juggle the beautiful baby for 15 punches. (25 points)
This ones set amount for the achievement is hard to pick, depending on the difficulty it can be any amount.
image - the crying baby of course.

#6 - 'Bro's before ho's' - Enflict a whole bar of damage on K-FED whilst britney is on screen. (25 points)
Basically keep punching K-FED whilst britneys around, having ti punch the baby out of the way first.
image - Britney being slapped.

#7 - 'Stand up sucka'' - Continue after K-FED knocks you down. (5 points)
image - the face of the downed bouncer

#8 - '"It's just a flesh wound!"' - Reveal the skull behind K-FEDs face. (10 points)
image - K-FEDs skull opened face.

#9 - 'Fists of fury!' - Hit K-FED with 1 of every punch: Hook, Jab, Uppercut and power punch. (25 points)
image - The bouncers fist.

#10 - 'Nothing personal' - Deliver 100 points of damge to K-FED whilst he's dazed before the final blow. (10 points)
image - Dazed K-FED

#11 - 'FALCON PAWNCH!' - Deliver the final pro to K-FED (25 points)
image - Captain Falcon

#12 - 'Flyin' High' - Juggle K-FEDs head 50 times. (10 points)
image - K FED's head bouncin around.

#13 - 'Charged: Public indecency' - Releave yourself. (5 points)

And finally you could do this, I myself did the whole game only getting hit once so this must be possible, the baby segment being what complicates it.

#14 - 'No Sweat' - Defeat K-FED untouched. (50 points)
image - bouncers glove thumbs up or something.

So yeah those are my ideas, thought I'd just throw them out there, might try and do some more, you should definetely open the idea of other users suggesting these to the authors to Tom.

Thing-Thing 4 should have medals, the game is so addictive once you get into to it and it also has a sort of achievement system built in anyway.

I like the idea that you have to actually let the cars kill 3 kids. And maybe you have to let the cars kill them completely, so you can't hit them once. For medal 9, how about "True Bully" or something along those lines?

Alloy: Arena, by PsychoGoldfish Type: Game Rating: Ages 17+

Alloy: Arena should have medals. It's a minigame made by MindChamber and PsychoGoldfish in 2004. The object is to survive as long as possible amid waves of Hood Ratz and Cyber Pitz. If you don'y recognize this game, you may remember Alloy from Newgrounds Rumble.

Unfortunately, I am not well equipped to suggest medals for this game. I am not very good at games, so I have trouble deciding what constitutes a challenging achievement. I have never even gotten past the first Cyber Pitz in this game, despite my valiant efforts. I hope someone else will supplement my efforts for this game.

Medal #1: Gang Banger (or something else related to killing gang members)
Kill a certain number of Hood Ratz. (I don't know how many would be a good number. Please discuss)

Medal #2: Dog Catcher
Kill a certain number of Cyber Pitz. (Again, what do you think would be a good number?)
25 points

Medal #3: Aerial Assault
Kill a certain number of enemies with aerial combos. (You know the drill, how many should it be?)

Medal #4: Melee master (I know it's lame. The name should be related to the use of melee attacks.)
Do not shoot any enemies. Maybe you should have to get a minimum score to earn this medal.
