FURTHER, if anyone read the BBC news this morning, they will have seen the article that lists the 4 or 5 BRITISH peace activists that have been pretty much murdered by Israeli soldiers for standing up for Palestinian's human rights. The thing is, the style in which you type, and the style in which you speak, are two separate things. You're not speaking verbally to the rest of the Newgrounds community.
When most of you engage in your day-to-day activities, how often do the following come up, in these exact forms: omg, omfg, lmao, lmfao, lol, anything than ends in "oxxorz", 1337speak, or other internet slang.
Verbal accents or the internet vernacular don't cross over each other. A french person, typing in English on Newgrounds doesn't leave out all H's, as they do when speaking.

Hopefully that makes things crystal clear, and now we can either continue with the topic for discussion, or lock the thread.

I also want to point out some of the ironically dead on parallels between the sub-issue about dialect in this string, and the arbitraryness of the racial dispute between Israelis and Palestinians. It is illuminating to think that a topic might be derailed or ignored simply because of the verbal dialect that the key issues are being presented in. It is equally shocking to me that because the Jewish race is seen as more acceptable by US standards, that their xenophobia, racism, terrorism, whatever you want to call it, might be CHAMPIONED over Palestinian violence of basically the same flavor. Sharon is a fucking terrorist, as far as I can make out. Why do we tolerate him? Is Arafat any better? He might be dead now if he hadn't resorted to the same terrorist tactics that the Israelis have sunk to over the years. I would stop saying they are terrorristrs that very second, and would change it to "soldiers". I would still support Israel, but I would stop supporting such drastic measures(example the rather recent 12 hour airborne assault on a civilian village that was suspected to have terrorrists in it)

I would very much agree with this. Terrorists are cowards who want to maximize "terror" by blowing up random targets to make dubious political points. And frankly, the political point is lost to me when the targets become random and innocent. However, one should not lose sight of the fact that terrorists are often reacting to despirate political circumstances, such as brought on when states like Israel practice terror on weaker states who can't really defend themselves by any other means. Or when the United States becomes so powerful that there are no legal, governmental, or global bodies for their victims to have recourse to when rogue-superpowers such as the US control or have veto-power over these judicial bodies. These factors MUST be taken into consideration when placing the "blame" for terrorism - it lies with the causes of terrorism, like the bullying attitude of rogue superpowers such as the US, as much as with the terrorists themselves. And there will ALWAYS be more terrorists, waiting in a cue to blow themselves and anyone else in the vicinity up, as long as we focus on THEM, instead of getting to the bottom causes of terror, INTERNATIONAL INJUSTICE BY GOVERNMENTS SUCH AS THE US. And frankly, the US itself is a terrorist state. And that doesn't necessarily make a US soldier who is doing his/her job a terrorist, but it does make the US miliary a terrorist army by accessory to its commander-in-chief!

I totally agree with you. I think Sharon's government is a terrorist organization. I think it is an abomination how Isreal has historically treated the Palestinians. Sharon should be brought before a war-crimes tribunal for his actions as General in Beriut. Furthermore, Isreal's recent claim that the founder of Hamas should be assasinated inflamed the Palestines, and for what?
