Backstabbing is one of my favorite hobbies on multiplayer games... I perfer when the player is driving a vehicle, or using a anti aircraft gun or something, you stab them, and the slump forward. Or even planting C-4 on their vehicle.
I had a backstab duel with a guy at Switchbox (a mutigame center), it was very funny as I kept on hearing him laugh out "Fuck!" or "Cease fire" he says (when I clicked on Cease fire, and then shot at him. (That was purely accidental). When he leaves he comes in the back and says "Who's Fuck you" (my code name), he laughed.
My favorite method of backstabbing is building towers on Footmen wars, and then having my arcane towers attack his castle. have my cannon (the other tower), defend against the counter attack, then take my men to counter attack the last remainder....
Or Missle Wars, My pesant would axe the my "enemies". and they'd say what the fuck!?!?!
But the best is when you fuck up your "enemies", score, by attacking them in a real game that counts. (ie an actual game, instead of a user map). I've done that for about a two years.
The best way is to build a bunch of ghouls, and necromancers, beam your hero and men into their base and attack their town center, and gatherers. (it's harder if the gatherers are ones that can move away. as they can rebuild a base and counter backstab you.
I was quite disapointed that Age of Empires Mythologly.
Now backstabbing has many positive results.
1)You just wasted 15 min of your teamates lives. (because this is YOUR intent, you are actually accomplishing what your goals are your time isn't wasted). Theirs are.
2)You caused agrivation to another player. causing some kind of reaction. You are interacting with another player!
3)You had great laughs.
I can't wait for Starcraft 2, and hopefully on Diablo 3, they restore this function, where you can go up to someone and kill them.. .
It's funnier if a player doesn't recognize your name, and you backstab them over and over again. Usually twice. But I backstabbed the same person 4 times in a row! ha ha ha.
Ban lists don't work, as you still get on.
