Depends on what you're smoking. If its sheisha(sp?) I'd say its good, but if you're gonna smoke pot with it then you will most likely ruin it very quickly unless you modify it.

Smoking pot doesn't ruin it, it's just that hookahs are meant to be used for long periods of time and marijuana burns very fast compared to the compressed tobacco discs that are used. You would need to modify the top so that it holds a bongstem instead of the hookah top.

Meh, the chamber looks like its a pretty good size, a bit bigger would be cool, the bowl is nice and chunky, so you can shove a 20 sack in there and dome it, but it looks like one of those shitty super-air-leaking bongs that give you drags instead of tokes, it looks okay, but the tubes won't last long, so, try to make some makeshift improvments on it, for instance, a choke, it makes it a little gayer because you have to put your thumb on it, but it will give you huge tokes if you do. Or you can put ice/ice water in there, so, overall, yeah, it's a pretty nice hookah, but try to find something a little better for your money, for another $30 you can probably get a vaporizer, which is WAYYYY better.

By the looks of it, it's probably so no name Chinese brand hookah. May be made to look Egyptian, but it lacks the quality of a good hookah.

If you're looking to purchase a hookah, the three brands I'd tell you to look into would be Magdy Zidan, Mya Saray, and Khalil Mamoon. I'm guessing this is your first hookah? The best starter hookah is the Mya QT hookah. Can be found fairly cheap on many sites. PM me for more information and some online discount codes.

A hookah is a smoking device. You can use it for weed or tobacco or even salvia. Whatever you want to. Having smoking peripherals is not illegal. they are almost always marketed for use with tobacco.
