Omg wow. I still have that movie!! I hated it but I watched it multiple times for some reason. Like even though I hated it, I still liked it. It'll be cool to see the remake!

This club is slowly dieing. So i decided to start talking about something..

In the new Alice in Wonderland movie (Tim Burton is directing and producing), they have this random Mia Wasikowska chick playing Alice..
Never heard of her and everything she's been in is unfamiliar.
Why not someone that's famous like the always annoying Dakota Fanning :D

Coraline wasn't his movie, believe it or not.
Here's the link to Alice in Wonderland, and Coraline was directed by some Co-Director of the Nightmare Before Christmas

Dakota Fanning? That would suck. Also, she's like a teen now or something, isn't she?

Totally!! I loved that movie and it's one of those movies that you can grow up, remember fondly, watch again, and still love. Some movies turn out to suck once you grow up, but this one maintains it's awesomeness.

Well they did say something like "from the _____ who brought you Nightmare Before Christmas"

But it was kind of sneaky because you would assume Tim Burton but that's not who they meant.

Yeah, those tricky Coraline bastards.

So, I have the collector's edition of Nightmare that came out a while back. And Sweeney Todd. Those two have to be, hands down, my two favorite movies of all time. I watch Corpse Bride every year when they bring it on TV for all the holiday stuff. I thoroughly enjoyed both Vincent and Frankenweenie, and can't wait for the remake.

Sweeney Todd is my favourite.
A lot of people (my friends) think it's "gay" that it's a musical
But I enjoy some musicals.

My brother got the Blu-Ray version of Nightmare Before Chirstmas a couple weeks ago. Haven't watched it yet :(

This is true, I loved that movie. The whole style of it was great.

I Feel like I might be the only one, but wasn't the re-make of Charlie and the chocolate factory, really good?

But I enjoy some musicals.

I've yet to see Sweeney Todd, but with Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp in it, there's not way I won't like it! I love musicals! I think it's funny how some people can't stand them. What's really funny is when you have a musical you really enjoy and then you try to introduce it to someone who doesn't really like musicals and they complain about all the singing and then you realise just how much of the movie actually is singing. That's what happened when I tried to show my mum Rent. Bit of a digression there, sorry.

The best thing about the first one was Gene Wilder and he was fantastic in it, but I do think there was improvement with the newer version. I didn't care much for Charlie in the first one and his mum was ugly and I hated the part where she sang. So I liked the second one better overall. Helena Bonham Carter is smokin hot and Charlie was adorable and the grandparents were pretty funny. And he actually had a dad. And I liked the story with Willy and his dentist father. I prefer the Oompa Loompa's from the first movie, but probably just because that's the version I grew up with. Haha, second one has some really great lines in it, too. Like the "he'll go crazy if you touch his nuts" or however that went.

You have to somehow get your hands on Sweeney Todd because you will love it. One of the only things I didn't like was the blood. It looked kinda fake at some points. But the reason I love the music in Sweeney Todd more than any other musical is Johnny Depp & Helena Bonham Carter are both amazing singers. If you watch the old musical (on stage) version of Sweeney Todd after watching the movie version, I can guarantee you will like the movie version.

I actually really liked it too. Johnny Depp's added humour made me laugh a few times and to be honest, i thought that kid who played Charlie did a really good job. Only some of the Oompa Loompa songs made me kinda not like it.

Eh, I never saw the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and I never plan on it. As much as I love Tim Burton, I think it's just a mockery of Gene Wilder's work. yeah, I know, it's more like the book, but I don't care. Willie Wonka didn't look like Michael Jackson. And the Oompa Loompas in the first one rocked.

Yeah, I thought the blood in Sweeney Todd was kinda funny. They're all like "Oh, it's rated R cause there's a lot of blood!"..................IT WAS PINK!!! Blood can be red.....blood can even be blue.....but it's not bright pink. Another reason for loving it??? It's the first time I've ever heard Professor Snape or Wormtail sing before XD
