So what software does everyone who composes electronically use? I've tried FL Studios, Ableton Live, Finale, Sibelius, and also mixing in Audacity in Adobe Soundbooth. I think FLS has the fullest sounds and has great percussion patches, but Ableton works a lot better with guitars and other acoustic stuff. Finale and Sibelius are pretty much the same for me. Soundbooth is way higher quality than Audacity but it also lacks some basic effects which I thought was weird. What do you guys think?

I do like ableton's guitar and other string patches a thousand times better than fruity loop's. Although usually if i want something to sound really acoustic i'll use Finale or Sibelius

I support FL fully. If you dont like the acoustic sounds that comes with it you can download samples, and if you dont like using wav's then you can get probably like 20 different vst's that have amazing guitar quality.

I personally prefer REASON because it is very user friendly and has an amazing sequencer.
