I've planned to go to the last couple of meets but never been able to get the cash to renew my passport so I can fly over. This summer... WILL BE DIFFERENT. Maybe...

So long as it's not a can of beans that's been spray painted gold and adorned with an official NG Sticker - I still haven't got the patent sorted on that one yet.

I think it's a case of toying with the idea of whether or not to put shorts on and scare you all off with my legs. Still, there's plenty of time for running over the next few months, so they can get into a nice shape in time. Maybe even some sun, if the long term weather is anything to go by.

Where abouts in the Midlands are you from? I'm from Worcester, so it might not be too far from me - I'd say see you on the train, but it looks like I might drive as far as Watford and camp there with my girlfriend, before tubing it to the main events.

I think I will come over for at least the Sat/Sun.

Might not be able to come down for longer, but I think the enjoyment of even a day and a half with you guys would be worth the cost and travel.

In slightly related news, I went to my first Salsa class two days ago. Fun stuff.

Hmm actually , i will be nearby on vacation as well.. I am not sure if i will still be there on the 8th though :/ hmm.. (still planning my trip) but if I can squeeze it in I'd love to make it.

Count me in! Had a blast at the last meet-up so I'm looking forward to this one!

Well dont buy anything yet, i was just messing around. I dont think its necesary for you to be hauling was potentially big ice blocks down.. we can just buy a bunch within london im sure.. just bring something manageable for you to haul.

I agree, it's not worth taking too much down, it would suck if it ended up raining, and had to keep hold of all that stuff until we got back to the house or something, there's less to look after on the journey down too. Besides, I think it would be funny if a huge group of people walked into an Iceland store, grabbing everything in sight.
