I had inquired about that for the meetup back when Tom was in town but it woulda been too pricy and the minimium number of people to reserve as a group exceeds our turnout(for this one).

We're mostly going for the vibe. If it starts to feel too pricy or crowded we'll walk over somewhere else, that area has a bunch of shit nearby from what im told. Worst case scenario we'll go back to the cuckoo white swan place in Wapping which is over in tower hill, which is only a stop or two away from there. They have the kareoke thing going on friday nights that we always seem to goto. I want to try something new though which is part of the reason i didnt automatically go there, but its good to have that option there, that place usually gives us a discount when we do show up. Hard to believe we're actually regulars there.

Damn, I wish I could go. It's looking near-impossible this time. On the day, I'll have no money, and a few teeth less (stupid british dental system). Ergo; I'll be in no state to get my dumb self down there.

If I left Friday morning, it'd be £9 cheaper but I have classes.

I checked Megabus and there's £3/4 tickets between London and Birmingham on the Friday and Monday! I guess it's just much closer...

Well, it's not as nice as a train but it's just the same as most coaches. So yeah, kinda cramped.

Get there early, bring a book and grab the seat near the front at the top for a little extra legroom. ;-)

I am leaving stafford at 5:55AM for birmingham on the train, I arrive at about 6:20. My original plan was to get the 7:20AM Megabus, but I have to get from one side of birmingham to the other, so I decided to FUCKTHATLOL and get the later one, because I'd miss it.
