Ah, darn it. I won't be able to make it. You picked the day I get back from my holiday in Great Yarmouth. Gah, that's annoying. Oh well. Hey, in 2010 I'll be 16, I'll fit in more with the age range of things. Curse my family's horrible holiday planning.

I'll be there :) I don't even have to book any time off, woo! How about, as it's summer, something outdoors? Like just bringing along a load of footballs, frisbees, boomerangs etc. etc. and going somewhere like Hyde Park or over to Greenwich?

Sounds like good fun! People will either be involved in the activities or sitting around and watching, so everyone is approachable to mingle with.
That said, this is England, so a back-up plan will be needed if the rain decides to show itself...

Now then, is this going to be a meet-up, or a meat-up?

Huge possibility for me to be trailing around there at that time, look out for me when you're there as I may drop round and holla at you guys because I saw some randomers at the last meet and the only reason I'd come is if I can travel with a randomer down there.

Yeah, we'll probably do that if the day is dreary, but I was thinking of the possibility of the weather turning to crap while we're out, and too far from Namco to get back easily.

There is actually a big green space next to the london eye if you want somewhere to kick footballs.

A Saturday at the beginning of August? It's gonna be fucking packed there.

I may turn up, may not. We'll see when it gets closer to the date.
I'll only be 17, so I may miss out on some of the activities, which would suck.

More the reason to maybe make it a trip out to Brighton or another seaside resort.

Hyde Park is mahoosive from what I recall :) So a big group would be better accomodated there. But it's just an idea - yeah, the weather might suck.... but it shouldn't suck too much. We need a couple of plans for different weather situationsand Luis needs decide what to do

Though I'd love to come back to London (since I enjoyed the hell out of the third meet), this takes place a week after my California trip, so they're a bit too close from one another...
Maybe next year though...

I can just imagine two dozen people standing in a queue in tescos buying a hundred sausage rolls or something.

Re-modded as you should be. What do you do for a job Luis? Is it a travel consultant? or a writer for the Lonely planet?

Is anyone willing to miss out on the 'gaming arcade' and willing to just get extremely fucked up? If so, I'll go. I've never been a person for all those huge gaming places, It stinks of shit and sweat, and If I wanted that, I could just go to a bar and get drunk while smelling shit and sweat.
Also, there's only a few people I'd actually like to talk to anyway.
