Swine Flu is massively over hyped. For anyone that's actually following it, it's kill rate is lower than the normal flu. Like Coop said, you're more likely to get hit by a bus.

Yeah, i think its a matter of common sense anyway. If you know you arent feeling well next week then just dont show up. Youre no good to anyone being all snotty and energyless anyway. This event comes around once a year so worst case scenario you might be healthy next August and you can join us then.

Ok so we're 9 days away, exciting!

I just got back from comic con, im so exhausted I'll probably need those 9 days to recover. I think in the future, ill avoid holding it so close to other events. I thought a weekend would be plenty of time but damn I already have to prep for it and i just got off the plane practically.

I may or may not update my hubpage again. I know there were some people who had to alter/cancel their plans and a few others that wanted to be added in but I have other more pressing matters to tend to and its not the end of the world if you dont see your name on there anyway. Youre still welcome. I'll have a uk mobile number available later this week, if youre someone who feels like they might need my number you can PM me and inquire for it when i have it.

I'm gonna try making it along to the thursday meet... i've been working on my house and its 90 miles away from where i live (with my parents) so i can only work on it on the weekends.

I'll only be down for the saturday and until sunday afternoon/evening. I suspect a lot of people from the UK who are getting into London via train will be doing the same so hopefully we'll get something done on sunday.

What are you worried about? It's not like the first day of high school, there's no bullies or cliques to get into, we're all looking to make friends.

I'd had a bit of stick from a few people over my indecision to come to the meet. I might check what I'm working that day and if it's only till 10am or I'm off I might make it for a few hours. I just don't know really. See how I feel on the day I guess. If I do go it'll be a very late choice to.

Right, what you need to do in that case is stand in front of the London Eye and look at the river. Turn 90 degrees left and walk down the riverbank. Before you reach the bridge, look left - there should be a big building, marked NAMCO. Look for the collective of people wearing Newgrounds Paraphernalia, probably on the dodgems, if you're within 60 seconds late :P

Trust me, we never really said "Right, it's 1300 hrs, let's move people!" and marched directly to Namco. If we're going to the parks, we'll probably wait a little longer before heading out, as stragglers might not know the way

I've just found out my band's just booked us a gig on the 8th so I might not able to go! I'm gonna see if I can make it for the day out, but I might be needed for a practise or to transport equipment.

Also what a waste of time, I'm working 5am till 4pm on the 8th as my boss reckons him working 1 weekend out of 4 is to many, and as he's down to work the 1st and 2nd he wants that next weekend off. Oh well. I never committed to this I guess.

I updated the Hub page for probably the last time. I added folks in and crossed some out. I also added google maps to some of the events that arent changing.

There is always someone who ends up showing up on the wrong day/week. Dont be THAT guy.
