In other news (and continuing the whole 'fuck parents' thing): I'm booking myself a train ticket down there, and it would be nice to know where everyone's staying for when I get round to the hotel room. Just so I'm not on the other side of the city or in a stupid place to stay in.

In all fairness i think my parents would have a heart attack if they knew i traveled around the world meeting internet strangers and im way over 19 yrs old.

That's not to say i endorse people sneaking out or doing anything shady. On a related note, I've switched properties for various reasons. So now home base will be in Clerkenwell, which is a bit more central. (Even tho i specifically said i didnt want to be in central london many pages ago lmao)

Well, I asked my father and he was a bit more positive, he raised some possibilities and said "Wait and see how it all pans out".

If I'm not around on the saturday I'll definitely be there thurs+fri though. Thursday whatever. Friday maybe not if i'm there on saturday, I'm not made of money.

Just wanted to mention that many people just show up on just the main day (saturday) and thats it. You can enjoy it just the same without making it a multi-day event. No need to hunt down hotels, or deal with any of that drama. Of course that also depends on where you are coming from. Use common sense.

The point is, dont feel forced to have to book hotels and stay multiple days. Some people choose to do that and thats cool but by no means required.

Well, for me it was a choice of making it a multi-day event, or spending a total of 7 hours on a train in one day.

...Yeah...

On that note, it'd be cool if I could met some of those staying for more than just the one day beforehand. Of course, that would involve knowing where everyone else is and what they're doing.
