I didn't go out once in June, I haven't been out socially since last august, I have to attend this meet or I'll kill myself. Anyone who went last time: What sort of spendings did you make while you were there? Travel will be pretty cheap, not a clue about the amount I'll need to spend while there...

Well, we'll be in central london, which is about the most expensive place you can get outside of paris. If you're drinking, expect around £3.50 for the cheapest pints, and if you're not, expect around a 50p-75p premium on everything. Drinks, ice-creams, etc.

Think of what you'll buy in terms of drink, obviously if you're drinking alcohol put aside around £30 for that perhaps and that'll give you a bit of a buffer.

Best advice is just to take a debit card, there are more cash machines than I have penises
