Im literally drinking a heineken right now, and it tastes like shit. Its meant to be an acquired taste, but ive had many beers in my life and it just doesnt taste good.
I stick to vodka oj, but is anyone else in the same boat?

I can't stand the taste of most alcohol... I try to, I'll go to a party and maybe I'll grab a beer or whatever but I have never been able to finish one. I just sort of... leave it. Or if I'm outside I might secretly dump it when I think no one's looking.

a lot of people really enjoy beer, i dont know what some of you guys are talking about. i prefer whisky and rum, but a nice cold heineken can really hit the spot sometimes. I actually prefer cheap beer like budweiser, miller lite, and keystones, to expensive beer like pale ales and stouts. i absolutely hate dark beer, but beer that is too lite (like michelobe) also sucks. when it comes to alcohol i am picky. also, i hate vodka, but i could drink even the cheapest bourbon whisky (heaven hill) straight out of the bottle, and captain morgans is delicious, and southern comfort is like candy

I hear that it tastes like piss, but I always have to wonder how they know how piss tastes like. Maybe those who said it got bored and peed in their cups and sampled. I wouldn't know. The fact remains is that there are some alcoholic beverages can be good or bad. When you have alcohol that has many varieties, like beer, tastes tend to vary. Bud light sucks, but I've tried worse. Homemade mead from some neckbeard I used to know back in high school. That was some horrid shit. Couldn't down it. Heineken was good though. I find they taste kind of like cheesy crackers. Whatever your choice is, you'll still get drunk and it'll be fun.

Really? I can't stand that shit man. I mostly stick with Pure Blonde these days.

As for not liking the taste of beer, I'd be surprised if many people did when they first started drinking. I definitely didn't, but it helps when you find a good beer (well, at that stage it'd be a least bad beer) you can drink with some kind of ease to get you used to it. After a while you'll have your acquired taste and it all gets easier.

From my experience, Amstel is the easiest beer to drink.
