Need a little help

Well I made this for my Pico game I'm making with my friend sumidiotdude, but I still think it's missing something. Does it look alright or should I add something else?

the type could use some work, perhaps a bit bigger and a drop shadow to make it more readable

Umm the shading is inconsistent. On pico's hair the shading is on the left, but on his hand and gun its on the right.

The gun should be in front of Pico's face. Also, what big johnny said about the shading.

the hand doesn't really look like it's around the handle much, when you look at it closely. Kind of looks like it's in front of it or something.
