What one would it be?
By live albums I mean albums recorded live at a concert somewhere.
If you could go to any concert that was recorded live and made into an album what concert would it be? (Please include at least one video of the concert in question.)
Mine would be Sonata Arctica. :)

FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE!!!! Just kidding, it would probably be "From the Muddy Banks of Wiskah," even though that was recorded from multiple concerts.

Daft Punk - Alive 2007
It was recorded live, but I don't think there was ever an official video.

I've always wished I could have gone to Metallica's live recording of S&M and been one of the people that screamed so loudly that their distinct WOOOOOO's can be heard on the CD.
NEED A SIG?. And oh, my love, my love, we both go down together.

Kamelot- The Belgrade concert on the second CD that comes with the special edition of Ghost Opera. I don't think it would be a particularly special concert, but I've been listening to that CD for the past week and can't get enough.
...and with that post, people of Britain were so surprised that "tea was spilled, crumpets were dropped and monocles everywhere popped out in shock."

Really tough one, since there is so many black metal bands that only played live like once or twice in there whole fuckin careers..
It'd either be Mayhem - Live in Leipzig or Windir - Valfar, Ein Windir
Would have said Darkthrone and Mutiilation, but they still have chances to play live, Mayhem without dead and euronymous is shit, and windir isn't along anymore since valfar died..RIP all 3 of em..
Only black is true, only death is real.

Maybe Beethoven playing, because live albums suck, and I'd feel I was getting the most out of it if it were Beethoven.

My top 3 would be:
Frampton Comes Alive! - Peter Frampton Acoustic Samurai - Paul Gilbert Pulse - Pink Floyd
All are epic, timeless, memorable, and overall amazing.
