Someone roughly the same age as me. 2 years either way but that's it.

I think 3(+-) years from my age.
Younger or older than my range would seem weird, either out of my depth with the older ones, and pissed of at the immature younger ones.

Generally you should stick to the 2 year rule, which means 2 years + or - your age so say you are 17 it would just be passable for you to date a 15 year old or a 19 year old any younger or older and it's abit weird. I guess it changes once you get older than 21 but I agree it does get kinda pervy when a guy dates someone much much younger than him :/

I'd feel weird dating a guy more than a couple of years younger than me. The oldest I'd consider, I don't know. Maybe maximum 5 years older. Anything else is just weird I think.

When I first started coming here I was 19 years old, and my father was dating a girl who had been in the same year as me in school. My dad was 34 when they had me, and this girl was actually younger than me.... ew.

I'd say, lower limit 17. It's legal!
And upper limit, my age +10.

But then again, that are the very boundaries. (only, well the upper limit is flexible in the way that she shouldn't be an old lady)

My age limit would have to be max. 3 year difference.

Had a situation where the age gap was questionable when i was in school, i was sixteen and she was thirteen. Though not really the age gap but the year gap, she is was in year nine i was in first year sixth form(So it went 9-10-11-me) which some people questioned. Generally age wise there was only a 2 year and seven month gap but the gap between the our year groups is what got people talking.

She was nice, i enjoyed her company and she seemed really...horny to be blunt, suppose a good term would be "enthusiastic learner" since i was her first "real" boyfriend. We had some general things we both liked/disliked and it seemed to go well, despite the fact half the school were whispering alot and even some teachers for that matter(more though to our public displays)

Seriously was the best two month relationship i had, she was rather agressive in the making out parts(let's say she was forward anyway) and i can't deny she was awesome in that respect. Although having stares and whatnot were ennoying from time to time from students and teachers it was worth it to see my previous economics teacher walk past us one day as say "keep it up" with a wink. Ended it though when i found she was a self harmer and went to a psycologist, was not in the mood for that kind of bagage(though i'm sure i did not help by dumping her)

It does get creepy i can say though at 19 years old to go out with females younger than you, i mean 19/17 year old seems normal, 19/16 would be a fine line to generally draw myself(as it does sound creepy unless the older partner aint actually a sleeze) any younger and i'd avoid it like crack.

It's hard to meet osmeone younger(14-16) and fine a real connection when your the older party.

In terms of a long-time relationship, I'd go about 2 years younger at most. The oldest woman I date could only be a few months older than me. That's all I'm taking.

Well... obviously that totally depends on the girl. I mean.. I would be okay with a 14 year old who is pretty mature for her age. But I wouldn´t go with any ordinary 14 year old. Just a too large difference in maturity.

On the other side, I also wouldn´t want anyone who is much older though. Two years older would probably be the max for me. I still wanna be the boss around the house you know ;)

So I think for me, below 15 and above 21 I would start to feel a little weird. Although at 15 and 21 it might already start to become a bit of a problem...

I couldn't date a girl who doesn't share my interests. Age is not really relevant, as long as I don't end up in jail, I guess.

I'd say 2 years, usually I stay at about 1 though.

I only go about 1 or 2 years above or below, usually the former.

Lol its a good thing you added not ending up in jail...because "Age is not relevent" is a common argument for the you know who's Lol!

1-3 years for me.
I date a girl younger than me (She's turning 18 and I'm already 18)
So, we are pretty even in age right now.

My range is 8 to 80. Man lots of people hate me and find me disgusting at the same time.

My boyfriend is 23 and I'm 18. It's only a little strange because I'm the same age as his sister and I'm still in high school. But other than that if you like the person, age shouldn't be an issue unless they're really acting their age. If they're still with them, then it's totally all for the sex.

At my (very young) age of 13, I would have to say 1 year up or down, but as you mature, I would have to say more between 1 and 8.

For example, it sounds a little.. Creepy... when you hear about a 14 year old going out with, say, a 9 year old, but not as much when you hear about a 37 year old going out with a 32 year old.

My age limit never really seems to be a factor in it - if the girl wasn't old enough for anything, then technically neither was I, during my time at school.

Now that I'm past being at school and I've actually got a good relationship going with my girlfriend, with her being 3 years younger than me, it's not beyond the bounds of belief that I could have dated her if she was 6 years younger than me, though people may well ahve looked at me strange, being a 23-year old, going out with a 17-year old.

Well, that hasn't happened and I'm happily dating a girl 3 years my junior. It doesn't really make much difference, at the moment.

I'm sixteen so 15-17 is good, 18 would be pushing it and 14 is just wrong.

Meh, relationship wise, i'd settle for a year younger, couple years older.

As you get in to your 20s people don't really care as much. Maybe it's just the way it sounds? sevenTEEN with a TWENTYTHREE year old...it sounds a little weird. Probably because people think of teens as youth and people in their twenties are seen as up and coming adults? but when a twentythree year old and a twenty five or twenty eight year old date...no one seems to care.
