Animal Crossing and kids stealing?

Okay, So I was on the N-sider fourms ( a fan made place to replace the old Nintendo fourms) And I come across a topic saying this kid about 8-9 years old who plays Animal Crossing Wild World stole from a lost and found.

For those who do not know anything about Animal Crossing it's a game where you move into a village with animals and your the only human and you go around paying off your debt to the house and catch bugs, fish, and shit. And in the game you can go to the " Lost and Found" and take items from there. And they're not really lost.

But getting back to the story the kid thought it was okay to go to his schools lost and found and take everything that was there including a watch, a sweatshirt and a lunchbox. I'm all like wtf you gotta be fucking kidding me. I mean the kid's 8 years old and doesn't know any better? Are all kids this stupid? God damn our society is fucked.

That's what happens when you treat a TV screen (or any other screen) like a babysitter.

That's also what happens whenever you get a dumb kid being born to lazy-ass parents who can't be bothered to check what the kid is learning from his surroundings every now and then.

In either case, they learn stupid shit, and the first time anyone notices is when they put what they've learnt into practice. It's not exactly a new problem here.

I spent most of my childhood playing through RPG's and I'm fine, although I was never allowed M rated games till I was 15 or so.

I'm not all that surprised, kids take from those anyway. Also the definition of "stealing" is taken too far sometimes. Most likely that stuff would have never been taken anyway.
