I'm starting an online text-based game and I'm wondering if and how is it possible to execute cron job on the user command.
Like when the user is upgrading him abilities, he clicks a button then php with crontab script is executed.

A cron exists so that a command is executed at timed intervals, so that a user doesn't have to click or do anything, if there is a user, run the script on click...
