That is the sort of question that you just can't hope to answer if you've not been in the same sort of position as the mother - knowingly carrying a child with such a heinous defect, citing the judgement of God as to the final decision for when the child will die.

Personally, I think that I'd be totally destroyed by being a parent to such a child, but the way that the mother has conducted herself seems to be eternally hopeful.

I hate these idiots who let their mutated babies live for attention or not wanting to let go.

No, I've known plenty of Atheists and Agnostics who had children with problems. They are just as devoted to their children as any Christian. The only difference is that they do not attribute things to God, either good or bad. If a person would imply that an Atheist is not as fiercley devoted to their children as a religious person, they'd be mistaken and would do Atheists a disservice.

(Frankly, I do not know a single religious person who threatens people with demons OR Satan. I think that's a stereotype).)
